Best razer keyboard
Love this keyboard! I've been a fan of razer products for years and this is easily the nicest keyboard I've ever purchased from them. Quality wise it both looks and feels high end. The rgb is bright and everything, with exception to the macro keys, work right out of the box without the need for synapse. This keyboard has its own memory so you can set the macros to whatever you want in the synapse app then uninstall the synapse app and the macros will remain. It's quiet and fast. I recommend this keyboard for everyone. The wrist rest is thick and comfortable as well. Update, I'm keeping the 5 stars because for gaming it's amazing however the yellow keys were far too sensitive for typing. A lot of mistypes. Swapped it for the huntsman v2 analog instead.

Yellow Key Version Perfect For Sound And Quality
I have tried both the green keyed and yellow keyed version of this keyboard; I ended up returning the green keyed one because it was obnoxiously loud when typing, and despite the yellow keyed saying it’s silent, it’s not quite silent but quiet enough that I’m happy with it. It is a little awkward having the additional macro keys on the far left, very used to esc being top left key so I’m going to have to get used to that. Keys are vibrant and I’m really impressed with the color display; works great with SignalRGB for synchronization between other RGB devices. The wrist pad that comes with it feels great, it’s some sort of gel inside with a very soft leather like surface. It feels solid as well and each key acts independently from the others next to it. I feel bad for others with the issues they described with double typing and such, but the like new version I got doesn’t have those issues yet.

It’s Gorgeous, It’s Powerful, and It’ll Gaslight Your RGB Settings Every 10 Seconds
I really wanted to love the BlackWidow V4. It’s got that premium feel, the RGB could make a unicorn cry, and those six macro keys whispered sweet promises of productivity and gaming domination. I was ready to pledge allegiance to the Cult of Razer. But then Razer's software, Synapse, showed up. If you don’t run Synapse, the fancy macro keys? Dead. Decorative. About as useful as a chocolate teapot. They don’t register as real keys — not in Windows, not in third-party software, nowhere. If you do run Synapse, brace yourself: it will hijack any custom RGB setup you have. Doesn’t matter if you spent hours dialing in perfect lighting through SignalRGB or OpenRGB — Synapse barges in like, “No no no, I control the lights here,” and forcibly rewrites everything, even with Chroma "disabled". It pings your devices constantly and overrides your settings, replacing your custom glow with cold, clinical white — like you're being interrogated by the CIA. My rig went from mood lighting to paparazzi strobe seizure in seconds. I spent 18 hours over a weekend trying to make peace between Synapse and the rest of my setup. I now know more about device drivers and background services than I do about my own childhood. The result? A keyboard that either has working macros or working lighting — but never both at once. So yeah. I returned it. Bottom line: if you want a keyboard that just works and plays nice with the rest of your RGB kingdom, this ain't it, chief. Unless you enjoy being gaslit by your own hardware.

Good keyboard
I picked up the Razer BlackWidow V4 mainly because I wanted something I could actually customize—both the key binds and the lighting—and it definitely delivers on that. I’ve just been using it as my daily keyboard for gaming and regular stuff, and the first thing I noticed was the wrist rest. It’s actually really comfortable and makes longer sessions way easier on my hands. The RGB is also solid. It synced right up with my Razer mouse without any hassle, which is a nice touch if you like everything matching. As for the typing and gaming feel, it’s what you’d expect from a mechanical keyboard—responsive and pretty satisfying. Maybe a little loud depending on your setup, so that’s something to keep in mind if you’re sharing a space. Only small downside for me is the keys will collect dust and food bits in between them, but the keyboard has an easy fix for that. You can take off most of the keys and then dust in between them. Overall, I’d say it’s a good pick if you’re a gamer and want customization without having to mess with anything too crazy hardware-wise.

Buggy
I'm still using it but I do get weird errors. Certain keys will activate twice with one press and sometime my number row would just stop working. Luckily it connects at the back of the keyboard as well as at the computer so a quick unplug and replug would get the keys working again. I do feel like that has lessened so maybe they've put out new firmware but it's happened more than 5 times over the months. When it's functioning properly I do enjoy it. The removable wrist pad is comfortable and the keyboard feels well built.

Almost perfect
Been using it for over a year and a half and it works perfectly, the only gripe is that one of the leds in one of the keycaps stopped working as intended and is only capable of showing red colors. Other than that, is an excellent keyboard.

Not just for gaming.
Razer keyboards, especially at this price point, are known for their quality and this keyboard is no exception. I'm a professional software developer, so naturally my choice of keyboard is important. There's a lot to love about its features, including the 6 additional macro keys, the ability to setup multiple keybind and color profiles, and the ability to change the color of individual keys. I have mine setup with three distinct profiles, primarily for the macro buttons. I have one for general use, and two additional profiles for my different IDE's. It's nice to have dedicated buttons for placing bookmarks, cycling between them, toggling comments, etc Having the ability to change the color of individual keys is a nicety, if nothing else. Things like highlighting the F5 and F12 keys, for example. I'm not a keyboard fanatic, so I can't tell you how the key presses rate against other keyboards at this price point, but I'm very happy with it. I believe the term for the Yellow switches on this keyboard sound and feel is, "chonky". Overall, I'm extremely happy with this keyboard. It took me a long time to pull the trigger on an expensive keyboard, but I'm glad I did. I'm pretty sure this one will last me for a good long time.

Great at first, but within 18 months had a bunch of double trigger keypresses
Really satisfied with it. Very minor gripe might be the key sensitivity is a bit too high, so it's easy to accidentally press a key just by resting a finger above a key. The product is also a bit expensive, I recommend getting it when it gets discounted. EDIT: 18 months later, I had to trash the keyboard. A bunch of different keys have started to double-type when pressed. Unacceptable for such an expensive product, and seems to be a fairly common issue.
