USB C Adapter

Dell's decision to place two very useful usb ports on the underside of a beautiful 32 inch monitor feels like an afterthought to me. Having cables trailing from the bottom of the monitor spoils the aesthetic, makes the desk look untidy and is distracting from the screen. So these liittle heroes have perfectly solved the problem. The cables are not even visible now from the position of sitting facing the screen, so at last I can make use of these extra ports. I haven't done any benchmarks but they work seemlessly for plugging in my iphone for data transfer and charging too. They feel well made and worth the money. I would recommend them.

Brilliant bit of kit

What's there to say? It works fine but can be a fiddly fit on some of my devices with covers.

Simple but effective; these adapters deal with the problem of USB-C cables and flash drives sticking out of computers, cars and AV systems waiting to get accidentally snapped off. (Various alternative directions /designs are available) In this case this design is just what I needed for a car mp3 music flash drive to not hang perilously out of the car's dashboard socket. Looks good, easy to use and no problems

Really good, needed this for an external monitor the ASUS xg17, I use the monitor in portrait mode and this just makes the look much cleaner works well and looks good quality.

I ordered these to use with my digital picture frames because I prefer powering anything I have via USB-C. Unfortunately, many devices have the plug pointing directly down, and that makes it impossible to use a spare USB-C wire unless it’s a right-angle wire and I do not have any of those. This solves that problem for me. The problem I didn’t think about when ordering these was clearance. I did my best to get a close shot showing it barely fit where I needed it. Technically speaking, I forced it in, so keep that in mind and make sure you have some level of clearance to insert the adaptor. I sat here wondering if there were any questions someone would have what would it be, and I thought maybe someone would ask if it would still read the e-marker chips inside wires that go above 60watts. I can confirm it reads the chips with no problem and you can see that in a picture below. The only thing I haven’t tested was if it would support hitting 140 watts. It says it’s only rated for 100 watts, so I will leave it at what they likely tested themselves. Seems like a good adaptor and it is a smudge magnet because of the polished look. It gets the job done.

These are nice little gadgets to have on hand. I need one of these to use in my Chromebook. I think it will save my charger a bit of use and stop the constant wiggling on the port. You get two of these, a right and left, so you can choose the one that works best for your application.
