Used it in 6s arrma fireteam
So I had the 20 kv servo for close to a year and never used it,but my arrma fireteam 6s stopped steering 100% and I was not wanting to wait until the replacement came so I figured this was not going to be powerful enough or hold up, so it installed easily, and looks like it is a factory piece, it's not as fast as I would like, but truthfully it's as fast as the spectrum one and doesn't cost even half of the price, I've ran 2 battery packs and some light bashing and it's still working properly, and the durability of it seems to be well worth the price and even better than some of the other ones that are twice as high, really I don't have any complaints other than it does sound a little bit more noisy than I like but it's probably because it is having to work harder than intended, I think if it was a 35 or 45 it would have not been as loud because it would have not been under as much strain, but for now this 20kg is stronger than expected.

Good but a bit slow
Great servo. Nive and torqueie a bit slow tho.

I like everything about it! Has held up to some serious abuse!
Ok like most reviewers, I was / am skeptical because of the price. I think us hobbyists are so used to paying HUGE markups that when you find a legit product at a fair price we are skeptical. I replaced the stock Losi S612HV steering servo that's used in the Losi Rock/Baja Rey. This dropped right in, needed to trim the left splash gaurd (in the pics) .. simple! My immediate thoughts.. this thing is amazing at this price point. It's not a hitec (or is it)? All I had to do is set my end points (rates if your using a Spektrum transmitter 😌). My first impression.. very nice, much better than the stock. If it holds up.. winner! ***UPDATE*** After a serious end over end crash, that destroyed camber and steering links as well as the tower mount. I can tell your this servo held up. It's a great buy and I highly recommend!!

It works fine, but pretty Slow!
So far the exterior quality looks good and it does seem strong. It is however pretty slow. My stock servo was also super slow, so I don't really notice while driving that much. It seems similar to the The stock flysky 3g servo from my Redcat Volcano speed wise

Works great!
Installed on a old truck I’ve had for years works great very responsive and built well very strong great product at a good price

Este servo es muy potente y funciona para lo que está hecho. Construido con materiales muy resistentes. Cuerno de metal.

Great servo with a lot of power for the size.
I ordered this for my HPI Baja 5B because the steering/throttle servo went bad, and I ran across this on Amazon. It was priced really well so I thought I'd give it a try, and needless to say, I'm pretty impressed. I was able to install it without any modifications, and it was a perfect fit. Setup was easy, and it has a lot of torque for its size, and it is pretty quiet. It is well worth the money.

Has plenty of power but not very accurate and loses power at small deflection angles
This device uses standard servo signalling - pulses of 544 to 2400 micro-seconds for full-range motion. However, it only rotates 255° instead of the advertised 270. I verified the pulse width was correct using an oscilloscope, and even tried sending signals below 544 or above 2400, but it did not move any farther than 255°. That was not a big deal in my application, as I only needed it to rotate 180°. The second thing I noticed was that when the servo was powered and at rest (no load, just a gear attached to the servo) the servo would not remain motionless. A servo should move to the position you've given it and stay there until you change the signal and send it to a new position. For example, I could direct it to move 20° and it would move immediately to that position, but then it would occasionally "wiggle" - moving a tiny bit one way or the other and then a second later it would return to the set position. I admit this motion was small and might not be noticed in some applications. Even though this behavior should not be occurring I thought I could live with it for my project. My application is to rotate a small wooden table, similar to a "lazy susan", using a micro-controller to generate the PWM signals for the servo. I planned to turn off power to the servo once the table was rotated 180°, that way the little "wiggle" motions would not be a problem. The servo has enough power to easily move my table, in fact it would move it too fast and I had to slow it down by sending the position signals one at a time, essentially telling it to move about 1/6 of a degree at a time with a 5 or 10 milliseconds delay before telling it to move again. This was great for slowly rotating my table in a controlled motion, but then I learned about another problem with this servo. It seems that this servo will not apply full power for small direction changes. If you signal the servo to move to a new position that is 10 or 20 degrees away it will apply full power to get there. I measured currents above 2 amps with a 5-volt power source when turning my table. But as my table rotation is nearing the 180° mark I need to slow it down so it comes to a smooth stop. That is impossible with this servo, because when you signal it to move only one or two degrees it will not apply full power. I measured less than .5 amps when directing the servo to move in small increments, which would not generate enough torque to move my table. The result is that I can move the table 177° with no problem, but the servo doesn't apply enough power to move it the last 3 degrees. The only way to get it to move those last 3 degrees is to tell it to move 10°, which causes it to move too quickly and bang against the stops on the table. Bottom line - for precision applications or when you need control in small increments, this servo will not work.

This servo works great on my 1/10 RC. I did not find much informations about this servo on the net but I though it might be worth the risks to try it out! Finally, i found myself a strong enough servo for what I intend to do with it. The speed may be a little lacking at arount 0.2s for a 60 degrees movement. But this servo is really silent.. and sturdy!!

Excelente reemplazo del servo de la dirección para mi TRX4 de Traxxas. Su substitucion es absolutamente simple y sin problemas y da un manejo más preciso y confiable. Prácticamente no hace ruido y no zumba como otros motores eléctricos.

this servo is pretty good. It is definitely better than my $50 Tactic TSX metal gear servo.. for the price, it can never be wrong. i recommend it for 1/10 buggies or even monster trucks. working so nicely on my Kyosho Javelin and Tamiya Super Clodbuster.

Surprisingly this servo is pretty impressive , you certainly cant go wrong with such a budget friendly price tag. Its fast , and has a good amount of torque. I jokingly gave this servo a try after stumbling across it and seeing the number of positive reviews it had. However , after removing my much more expensive servo from my Red Cat Gen 8 Scout 2 and dropping in this one , boy was I surprised it performed far better then I ever expected. I went back and bought two more , I would surely recommend it .

I got this servo to replace my stock TRAXXAS TRX4 servo that went on me and man this thing works great! Very solid and strong, servo noise is no more or less than the usual. Can’t speak on waterproofing. But this does the jobs and get your vehicle back in action at a very reasonable price! I’m happy with my purchase and definitely recommend this!
