Makita got almost everything right with this smallish, lightweight drill driver. Power wise, it will easily drive 6x 150mm screws into un-piloted timber all day. It is plenty fast enough for most tasks. I sank around 3000+ screws over the summer of all sizes, and never once did it feel underpowered. The clutch is pretty good, and fairly predictable, but I tend to use it at full power in drill mode for sinking screws. Ergonomics are very good. Battery life with a small 2ah battery is virtually all day. Only a couple of times, have I had to change the battery in a single day. This drill is very light and compact, and that was the reason I bought it. This makes it great for overhead work, or awkward angles. The batteries can be picked up for as little as £20 each. If you are looking for a lightweight, compact drill driver, that will drive pretty much everything you could want a drill driver to do, then this is worth a look. If you want the fastest, with the latest and greatest features, then get an impact driver.

Using this tool for 2 years now. To say WOW! means don't say anything. This is EXELENT tool. Its powerful, its super light, its so comfortable and its quality material. I love it, mama mia. Now i know why for 2 years price jump up =) its reason for that. I just don't understand why many people still use heavy drill 18v. Once battery off, change it and go, if u dont want to get cap of tea ☕😉

I have both 18V and 12V systems. Before I bought the 12V I got the 18V equivalent. The 18 felt a bit more solid and had a nice smooth spin up / trigger but the big batteries made it feel out of balance. So I got this instead and I really love it for most jobs. It’s my dedicated screwdriver and it’s so light and small it’s a pleasure to use. It’s well built too. I think it would struggle at the top end where a bit more grunt is needed but I have my older 18V combi for those jobs. My only complaint about the hex head is that it feels like the more natural way to release/insert the bit would be to pull the sleeve towards the drill then it could be done one handed but it’s the opposite.

Probablement la meilleure machine Makita dans la gamme CXT, ultra compacte, légère, maniable et pour autant avec un excellent moteur pour tout les travaux courant d'un agenceur ou menuisier/ébéniste. Couplée avec des batteries de 4Ah c'est des heures et des heures de boulot en vue. Prévoir les forêts et embouts en emmanchement hexagonal si vous voulez vraiment profiter pleinement de la machine.
