first, I purchased the Govee ambient light package with camera, because it's cheaper and has lots of 5 star review, after I install and use it for 1 night, I could not stand the latency and inaccurate of the ambient light, also the default purple or orange light when the TV picture showing balance, which is NOT immersive at all. So I returned it and searching for other product, which I found this Lytmi box, using pass through HDMI signal to detect the color change on the TV display, which per my understanding shall be much better on the accurate and latency of the ambient light, so I purchased this Lytmi, and it proves I am correct! the 4K 60hz signal first comes from my Apple TV box in Lytmi box, than out to my TV, so the Lytmi box could monitoring the HDMI signature for color change, and this has created a zero latency (to my eyes) and very accurate color Changning ambient light, exactly matched with the TV picture! :) also, when TV picture showing as blank on the edge of the display, the ambient light also showing as black (by turn off that area), which is great! I do not notice any picture quality downgrade due to the HDMI passing through the Lytmi box first. FYI: the passing through signature support the signal up to 4K 60hz with HDR10 and Dolby Vision support, so if you want to use your PC or PS5 output 4K 120hz, I do not know if it will works or not. but for mostly other use: TV box (Apple TV, Fire TV, ChromeCast, etc) to TV, it works perfect

These lights don't work. DO NOT BUY THESE LIGHTS. YOU'RE JUST GOING TO WASTE YOUR MONEY AND HAVE A VERY BAD TIME INSTALLING THEM AND FINDING OUT THAT THEY DON'T WORK.

I saw some reviews saying it wasn’t working when you plug it in or it was off a bit, but if you clip it right and click the button to set it to the track mode it works perfectly and is simple to install the colors are fine except where the cables show it shows a rainbow but all you gotta do to fix it is move them to a spot where it fits better

For the price this is a very good product and plenty bright but... there is a big but. It really only works for a 55" TV exactly. I bought the 55 to 24 option and they say you can cut the LED to fit. (Which you can and it's very easy). But the HDMI sync box isn't smart enough to know that you've cut the length. So the lights don't quite match the image of the TV. You have to have exactly a 55" TV or 75" (if you buy the big version). If you have to cut it will be off. When the screen is full of color you don't notice as much and it's still okay but because of this it's disappointing and I can't give 5 stars

Nothing much to add there. Worked right out of the box. Looks amazing.

Ok so first off this product is working perfectly and I love it. Only bad thing for me was one of the corner guides was missing the sticky tape on the back. Easy fix for me so i wasn't too upset. BUT, big thing with this that took the longest to set up was connecting it to the wifi. It will only connect to 2.4 wifi band. Apparently nowadays most ISPs will give you routers that only make the 5 wifi bad visible. This can be fixed! So don't think if you don't have 2.4 that you can't use this. You just have to change your router settings to allow 2.4 to be visible. It was a pain for me but I'm glad I did my research instead of sending the product back. All in all I'm happy with this purchase.

It does not work with just your TV!!! It isn't stated clearly that you need to plug it into a third-party device. It says it works with just the TV, which is very misleading, but it does not. It is literally just like a normal strip of LDs. I will be returning.

Their website in the FAQs as well as the included manual that the device support Dolby Vision passthrough but it doesn't. I have a TLC 5-series TV (2023) and a Nvidia Shield Pro. When I connect my Shield Pro to the Lytmi, HDR and Dolby Vision are no longer an option at 4K, only 1080p. The other issue is that if you scale down to 1080p any HDR and Dolby Vision produces a muted colors from the LEDs, red comes out looking more orange, blue is an cyan, green is yellow. The other thing I have noticed is there is a lag in the output of the LED strip versus what is displayed on screen, even when HDR is not enable. I would estimate the lag at about 200ms. It is most noticeable when content switches from dark to bright or bright to dark. I had hopes for this be an awesome device on a budget but it was a disappointment. I am returning my kit.

I love everything about this product. The install was super easy. When the instructions say don't stick down and pull up they mean it. It was easy enough to line it up before hand and slowly pull the backing off. It's still stuck down months later. Easy to setup with Chromecast. Doesn't work for gaming consoles but I switch the lights to a solid background or colors and it's great

Works almost flawlessly. Adjusts for letterboxing very quickly and looks great. Installation/setup was easy too. Watching tv doesn't look quite right with it off anymore. There are a couple of small issues though, color accuracy could be improved - it seems like the colors from the strip are more saturated than what's on screen. This can be distracting at times but it's not too bad for most scenes. The other issue is that I'll get flicker occasionally. It seems to be an issue with it trying to detect letterboxing. When a dark scene happens a flicker can happen based on the objects on screen that are highest/lowest in the frame. Obviously a software issue but it's not a frequent occurrence anyway so I don't see that being patched out. Otherwise though this seems to be a hell of a lot cheaper than hue and a lot cheaper. Would buy again for sure.

Super produit!! Fait bien le taff.. il y a quelque couleur qu'il arrive pas a reproduire mais dans l'ensemble pour les films, les jeux et l'ambiance c'est top... Les bémols sont le prix qui reste assez chère, on ne peut pas utiliser les appli tv intégrés faut passer par la box internet et après installation j'ai 2 led qui ont grillée pourtant j'ai bien respecter l'installation et la coupe du ruban
