Extremely overpriced. You can get one brand new off many pottery websites, for example, Sheffield pottery for under $800

Overpriced!
The wheel itself is great. Shimpo makes awesome & quiet wheels. This one is WAY overpriced. You can save yourself $400 by buying from a ceramics supplier ( at least in the US). Some offer free shipping.
