I fell in love with using tuning forks a couple of years ago, but this is the first large set of them I have acquired. I may be just used to smaller sets or solo forks I have gotten, but these sound so much better. I have never really been able to get into chakras, so I am not using them for that. I have found using them calms me and helps clear my mind and just makes me feel better, which is what is important. Each one has a different tone. My favorite one is one of the blue or greenish ones that has a really deep tone that reminds me of the ocean for some reason. They range from higher pitched to deep and sounds in-between. They include a tool to tune them. The case is awesome. I am used to just having a velvet storage bag to store mine in, and they tend to try to fall out and can still be damaged easily, so this was a bonus. I love using tuning forks for music therapy because they are quiet and can be used with no one else in the home or apartment building even knowing you are or being disturbed. I have even found my cat likes to have them gently hit and placed by his ears to hear. This would make an awesome Christmas gift for someone who is into sound therapy or just likes to use tuning forks or does chakra work. They appear high quality compared to the cheaper sets you can get at least.

Chakra Tuning Forks for Healing These tuning forks open one to a whole fascinating new world of healing techniques. I am new to the practice and theory behind healing with these tuning forks, but I purchased the book which Amazon mentioned is frequently purchased along with these tuning forks. There is actually quite a bit of information to digest on their utilization. The forks themselves are well made, well marked, and color coded so you can easily find which fork you desire at a glance. They come in a great, high quality, metal padded case and include an alternate roll-able velvet case for those who desire a more compact means of carry. I plan to use them personally, and if I become proficient enough, use them as an additional service I can provide to clients! 5 stars! Explaining my rating system: 5 - a superior product - I would recommend 4 - above average – a great choice 3 - average – what one might generally expect 2 - below average – I would advise seeking an alternative 1- Horrible – a waste of your valuable money - avoid if at all possible

This set of tuning forks are very nice. They look of good quality, colorful aluminum. Each one is marked with the frequency and chakra acupoints and the colors help identify it. I can easily hear the different frequencies when it’s close to my ear and the vibration is strong. This set came with an aluminum case with foam cut outs (great for longer storage so they don’t get damaged) and a bright velvet pouch (good for quick access with multiple use) so I have my choice to store them as both is really needed. I am just a beginner at this and still learning how to use them correctly. The colorful “chakra” set looks really nice.
