Sanlida Noble Standard Kit- 66 Inch Wooden Takedown Recurve Bow - order to fit
My 1st bow and it looks and feels well made. Easy to assemble. It's a good beginner bow and beyond. The nock was already set on the string. The arrow rest was good, but will not last long, so you need to plan on replacing it. Does not have all the mounting holes like on a metal riser, but the basics are there for stabilizers, sight, and arrow plunger. The riser grip was thicker than some other risers so it may be large for smaller hands. Arrows were still good after about 72 shots. Would be good if they also included a arm guard. Overall it performed well, but I am only a beginner. Best part is that you can order the size of bow that's recommended for your draw length.

Very Nice Bow
I am an archery instructor and needed a recurve bow for practice and also demonstration when I'm teaching and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I am a small person (4' 10"), so the youth sized bow with the 18 lb. draw weight is perfect for me. I liked that this set came with the accessories that I can not only show to my classes but also learn to use myself. It was nice to have all of these accessories included because I would have spent more money buying them separately. The sight and arrow rests are not top quality, but they are functional. I actually decided to purchase a nicer arrow rest because I don't like the stick-on kind. One of my reasons for buying this bow was that it has the pre-drilled holes to add arrow rests and sights if needed. The wood is very nice and very pretty. The limbs are also very nice and I like that they have the hand-screw bolts and not the kind you have to turn with an allen wrench (another reason I chose this bow over others). It comes with arrows that have screw-in tips which is nice if you need to replace them or change them out. It also comes with a very nice quiver with a belt strap. If you are just looking for a starter bow for a kid or for a smaller adult, this is a good one. If you are a more serious archer, this is a nice bow for a reasonable price, but you might rather go for a more expensive option.

Surprisingly good
Honestly, this is really nice bow. The arrows are ok, the accessories are not too bad, in fact it is a pretty decent quiver. The only complaint is the arrow rest. It is comically bad and will only last you a days worth of shooting, if that. Order a $5 set of plastic arrow rests (comes with a bunch) when you buy this set, you will thank me. Also, when I put the new rest on, I had to move the knock point slightly. I already had that kit from Amazon, but it’s worth having as a recurve shooter anyway. Once we spent a little time getting everything setup like we wanted, this now shoots VERY well.

Outstanding Value for the Money!
Outstanding Value for the Money I haven't shot a bow since I was a kid, but have been wanting to get back into archery, and needed a good, inexpensive starter bow. After doing a fair amount of research on what to buy (draw length, bow size, draw weight, arrow stiffness), I settled on the Sanlida Noble. I purchased this kit online, directly from Sanlida, along with two dozen of their Dragon 8 arrows. After about six weeks of heavy use, I can say with certainty that this has been a great purchase. To get started, I watched a series of form videos (Korea Archery Academy on YT), practiced a number of drills, then shot the bow to get used to it. Then, I took a lesson from a certified instructor to get feedback on my form, and have been shooting several dozen arrows a day since. At this point I'm still shooting short range (~10 yards), but my groupings have gotten very consistent, which requires a good bow. To supplement the kit, I bought a solid target, an inexpensive aluminum finger tab, and fabricated a finger sling and a wrist guard, and am shooting indoors while the winter weather storms outside. When the weather clears, I'll be shooting out back every morning. Pros/Cons Pros * Price: You won't find a better bow at this price point. Even if you're good at archery, this would be a reliable backup/loaner bow. * Customizability: You can specify the bow size, draw length, and draw weight you need (do your research before purchasing). I suspect you can also get replacement limbs, if you want to upgrade (or reduce) the draw weight without buying an entirely new bow. * Nearly complete kit: This kit has ALMOST everything you need to get started (see what's missing in Cons below). * Lightweight: I didn't think about this until I shot an aluminum ILF bow, but a light bow means you can shoot more before you get tired, and you can carry it around without it weighing you down. * Customer Service: I had an issue with my string, and Sanlida customer service responded within hours to my email, and sent me a new string. I also had a couple of questions for them, which they answered quickly. Cons * No wrist guard: You can get a cheap wrist guard for $5-$10, but the kit should really have included one. * Plastic hardware: The limb pockets and the finger grips for the limb bolts are plastic; it would be nicer if they were more durable aluminum, even if that added $10 to the cost of the bow.

Sanlida Noble bow
There are so many choices when it comes to buying a bow, especially for a beginner. After much research I decided to take a chance on a less expensive bow, like the Sanlida Noble bow. Aesthetically, it’s beautiful, in my humble opinion. Mechanically, I don’t know how to compare it to a more expensive bow but when I shoot it, it feels great. It’s so much fun to shoot. I think it’s a great value in that it comes with the bow, (which is a takedown bow comprised of two limbs and the riser) six arrows, a finger tab, a bow string and bow stringer, a sight, and a quiver. If you’re new to the sport I’d suggest that you purchase an arm guard, as there isn’t one included with the set. The included directions, at least to me, were a bit confusing when it came to assembling the sight, which I’m not going to use for now anyway. There is a black plastic arrow rest (and a sticky pad that mounts to the bow that you then mount the arrow rest to) included as well, but the instruction manual doesn’t mention the steps necessary to install it. It isn’t difficult to figure out though, you just line up the holes in the sticky pad and the black plastic arrow rest with the hole above the arrow rest shelf of the bow. Overall, I’m very impressed with the quality and value of this archery set and would suggest taking a look at it if you're interested in starting out in archery.
