Cadbury Double Decker Chocolate Bar, 160 g

Yummy. My favourite

You either love them or hate them. Chewy nougat and crisp chunks of biscuit encased within milk chocolate. I love them, but they're not quite as big as they used to be. They don't seem to melt that much when it's warm, and they're pretty reasonably priced.

To those saying that they were mislead, the description says 4 bars and quite clearly that the weight is 160g. Do the maths. 40g a bar. The snack size bars. You can't fit 4 times the full size 54.5g into 160g if you tried. It really isn't difficult to figure that out but it is amusing to read your reviews. Also, crushed double deckers taste the same as uncrushed ones. Stop crying and eat the chocolate! I ordered 1 of these a few weeks ago and ordered another 4 that arrived today. The first one was demolished in delivery because they were packaged in the small CD delivery boxes but still tasted great the second lot that came today were fortunately in a box with space meaning they weren't crushed and are fine.

This chocolate treat has top layer of nougat sitting on a bottom layer of chocolate biscuit and completely covered in Cadbury's chocolate. I like to chill a Double Decker for a little while to make it a little more chewy but room temperature is probably the best way to enjoy it as it all melts in the mouth, giving you a pleasantly chewy and crunchy treat. Note the biscuit layer isn't too crunchy, it's more of a bourbon consistency than a crumbly shortbread-type biscuit, but it tastes of Cadbury's chocolate and nothing like a bourbon biscuit, of course! This chocolate bar gives a satisfying chocolate hit. I'd recommend the smallest size for young children, moving up in size with age. An 'adult size' is also available, which is quite long although the same height and thickness, but the length of the bars in this 4 pack of 'average' size Double Deckers isn't disappointing.

The best! Was a bit squashed in the packaging but at the end of the day your getting your sweet treats delivered to your doorstep - you can’t expect everything in life!

The print on the packaging was absolutely rubbish quality, see photo. The bars were a lot smaller than I expected. But... they tasted great! Just as I remembered. Apparently the single pack bars are 55g, and these are 40g. I don't actually think that's a bad thing though as I'm at that age where I avoid unhealthy snacks, so this being a smaller bar just made me feel that bit less guilty about indulging. Plus, 4 for a £1 - pretty much the same price as when I was younger too - win all round!

Really decent snack bar

With the amazing combination of a crunchy cereal-like lower layer, soft & chewy nougat above, and milk chocolate coating, these bars are absolutely delicious - definitely one of my favourites. For me, they're far better than Milky Way or Mars bars. Unlike many reviewers, I don't think they're too small: they are very sweet and would be too sickly in larger quantities. Mine arrived in perfect condition and had a long best before date. In summary, highly recommended as a sweet treat.

This Cadbury reminds me the original taste of Cadbury. It is amazing. I remember my child hood must try product.

Liked that it's still being made by Cadbury. Disliked that it has stopped in India.
