Very useful jig. Good built, solid parts, and I have had it for a while and I haven't seen any wear and tear. It is accurate, and easy to use. If you have any problem operating it - because it is multi-functioned, just check YouTube for videos. you can use it to get accurate placement for holes both face and end grain. It is a great size for handling and it is worth every dollar spent on it.

There are other similar products but this is different and stands out. If you are just looking for center alignment this is not right but what is the user of center aligning when you can't make repeatable holes on multiple wood pieces and corresponding dowels on face plate. I have used two other different products and no where close to this in terms of precision. Looking for better jig for long to make closets and drawers. Some reviewer point to alignment but that's not really issue with this tool. If you are really upto dowels means you can adjust it and no other tool is close to this. Again this is NOT self centering tool, but once you get it center aligned you keep going both on edge and face plate without struggling how to get dowel holes on face plate. The main benefit is, you can make dowel holes on both faceplate and the edge piece. Look no further. Build quality is excellent. Update: After using for few months, I make cam screw holes with breeze. Now I make all my boxes with cam lock fasteners with help of this tool. Other thing you don't really need to be center aligned if you are using this tool. Also for edge alignment stopper is bonus and never really need to measure Update2: I didn't get 1/4" guide bushes with this tool, though it is not show stopper for me. But it should have been included. Sure will buy another set if they give these additional guide bushes

The directions are very good, but would be a lot better if written on a standard size paper that could be read without a magnifying glass. But explicit and accurate. The only thing that would really make this tool perfect would be a laser engraved line down the middle of the top and sides to see that the jig was directly on the drawn line on the wood. Drill bits are good- Collars are good. Easy to use

I really wanted to like this jig but unfortunately it makes holes too big for the dowels. The drill crib screw bushings (the sleeves that holds the drill bits) are so short that the bit wobbles inside them causing the holes to be larger than expected. I tried to purchase some better quality drill bushings but the jig uses M14 1.5mm threads and the only ones i could find have 1.0mm threads. Sadly it's getting returned. Other than the drill bushings this is a high quality tool that is easy to use. Also the directions that were included were full size and easy to follow so it appears that they have been reading the product reviews. My message to ABOUTOOL: Spend a few extra $$ and use better quality drill bushings.

I think it easy to use. It would be better if it could be taken apart for use, allowing holes to be drilled in the middle of the board.
