Great tool to help push in a bezel

Received 10/13/2023. I was hesitant due to some reviews stating the guide rods were loose/shaky and that the articulation ball-posts were loose, but I've seen zero issues so far. The main face moves smoothly along the guide rods with absolutely no play on them whatsoever. I can't even get it to rattle by shaking it as hard as I could. The "neck" area is also very well done and shows no signs of slipping or becoming loose as I articulate the face into different positions. Very happy with this product. If you're worried about the reviews talking about either issue, I'd say those folks either got defective models, or the manufacturer corrected those errors since then. Very satisfied with my purchase, especially for the price. I plan to use this for Gunpla detailing, and it definitely beats paying $90+ for the "official gunpla" versions they sell on hobby sites.

Works quite well as a stand in for a ball vise and has helped me out quite a lot with my Jewelry making process.

Great value and very sturdy. I added heat shrink to the included pins for use with more delicate items. Excellent for scale modeling

Pins are smaller then the holes and can’t grab a item properly

I wasn’t sure I would like one on a stand for rock carving and working, but it works well for some things that I need both hands free for, like drilling holes. It is pretty easy to position and tighten.

I do some silversmithing and appreciate the ability to clamp things down and adjust the angles on it as I work. There are fancier versions out there, but I am a hobbyist and this suits me just fine. I appreciate the flexibility and the quality.

You will need to do a bit of light sanding on the vice face, and the rods provided are maybe 0.01” too small in diameter so some slippage might occur. Otherwise this vice does everything for my gunpla and I cannot recommend it enough. The base is detachable if you want a handheld vice and it is a hefty little guy. Seriously recommend.

Pins are a bit sloppy. Under pressure they tighten up but I have had them fall out while getting set up. Pivot point doesn't take a lot of carving pressure but works fine with my Dremel.

I was looking for somthing like this to be a third stable hand while working on models, so far so good it does what i need very well movements are smoothly posable, its heavy enough yet small enough for detail work like this. Mine came with 8 pins for different holding possibilities. Is the finish perfect?..no, but for the price its well made and the jaws close truly flat. I look forward to working with this little vice for years.
