This frame is impressive. We needed a king size bed and chose this from the reviews. --Box/Delivery/Packaging - The box is not that big, but extremely heavy. You will (need a hand truck) to move it or, you can do what we did - unpacked the box on the porch and brought the individual pieces in the house and up the stairs in their smaller individual bundles. The parts are ALL labeled and put together with the strongest strapping (razor knife needed) and wrapped in bundles of same parts. There is a nice sealed parts cardboard with the nice labels of "step one parts" and "step 2 parts" so you can just open one part and get all the parts (bolts and nuts) before going on to the next part. --Assembly/Instructions - The bed is assembled in just 4 parts and the instruction and illustrations are wonderful. One person can easily assemble this. The do have a "tool kit" with one of those little wrenches for the nuts and an Allen wrench. Someone mentioned better tools, but being too lazy to go down and get "better tools," I assembled it with the tools provided and it took less than 20 minutes. I did have to get (a hammer) to fully put the slat pieces that fit tight, so a tap on the top to fully seat them made it easier and faster. --Building was two long king side pieces with attached mid-leg. The top and bottom were screwed in with 2 bolts each on both sides. Then there was the top and bottom legs put in with 2 more bolts. There is a piece down the middle of the frame top to bottom with a attached mid-leg for the dead middle, fastened with bolts and nuts. Two smaller pieces going halfway across to the dead middle leg completes the outer frame. Then the slats are tapped into the welded holders up and down the long pieces of the frame. You are done. --This frame is solid and heavy. It is high which was necessary for my tall older husband to get into and out of bed without having to get to a standing position from a seated position. We put a 12" mattress on the frame. I can climb on the bed, but I have a little step to get on to make it easier. (I'm 5'2") and with the 12 inch mattress it is high for me, with this frame I could probably get by better with a 9" or 10" mattress, but the idea for us was a easy in and out for my husband. --Under the bed is a ton of storage and it is very nice. I bought a 18" bed ruffle to hide the utilized storage. At one point, I realized I had to plug something in behind the headboard and I weigh almost 200 lbs, it was very easy for me to entirely crawl under this bed with room to spare. --Quality - we have this bed on wall to wall carpet, so I am not sure if the review would be the same on flooring instead. With my husband and I and 2 big dogs, this bed is effortlessly holding 500+ (people and dogs) plus 125 lbs (the weight of the mattress) without any problem at all. It does not move or flex in any way, it is solid under us even with movement and position changes. --We have a free standing headboard and no footboard on our bed. There are holes provided at several levels if you wish to attach a headboard or footboard to this frame. --Someone did mention mattress clips to prevent the mattress slipping in a previous review. I did buy them based on the review at the same time as we bought the frame, but they are not necessary for us, so I never put them on. I think this would be depending on the mattress you buy whether the mattress would sip around on the frame and with the mattress we bought, it was not an issue. In summery, we are so happy with this bed frame and plan to purchase more for our other rooms to replace older frames we currently have that are not as good as this one.

I like how easy it to build and it looks so sleek that you hardly notice the frame. The support is good and left A LOT of room in my bedroom both underneath and around it overall. I like the sturdiness too, however if you have tile floors (or just no carpeted flooring at all), I’d recommend getting something to keep it in place because mine moves around a lot and I have to fix it to get it back into position. I’ll be keeping this item for a very long time! When I move, I probably won’t even buy another bed frame until this one gives out lol.

My husband and I have had the same bed for six years. It’s a king, has box springs under it, and the metal frame was super old. The metal frame was bending underneath the weight, and in turn it made the box spring sag, and it made a lot of noise with any sort of movement, getting on or off the bed, adjusting throughout the night literally woke us up, it was that terrible. It also made our mattress sag, so my husband and I would gravitate towards the middle of the bed. Honestly don’t know how I withstood it for so long. So finally, I decided to bite the bullet and get a new bed frame. For a king bed frame it’s 75 dollars, and who can really beat that price?! It came in today. I’m a 25 year old who doesn’t really work out other than chasing a toddler around, weigh 150, and I was able to carry the box. It was a little awkward, but not really too heavy for me by myself. I was able to get the bed frame completely put together with my two year old big girl helper, in about 30-45 minutes, just using what was in the box. There were straps you needed to cut, and since I had my toddler I didn’t dare have a knife in the room, so a butter knife worked just fine with a few swipes, and it was less of a worry with my ever curious kid 😊. When I tell you, it feels like we’re on a brand new bed, I’m not kidding. Doesn’t make a single sound, it’s very sturdy, and there’s no longer a slump. I also love how there’s places for you to put a headboard footboard if you’d like one, and we have a discount furniture store where you can buy headboards for as cheap as 10 dollars. So 85 dollars for everything but the mattress?! It’s a STEAL! I have absolutely no complaints, I’m very, very happy with this purchase. If you’re on the fence on whether you should spend the money for something as simple as a bed frame, DO IT. You’ll have no regrets. None.

Do not buy this. I've never experienced such a poorly designed "bed frame" before in my life. Nothing about it works. You cannot use it without a box spring no matter how much they lie in the description. It has cheap slats that are not supported and constantly pop out. If you lay down or slightly move on them they fall or bend. If you use a box spring on it it simply falls off. There's in the singles notch or support anywhere to hold your box spring in place so when you lay down or move on the bed it falls off either side with you still on it. You cannot use this to sleep with. It's impossible. The company that makes this piece of s*** is just trying to steal money from you.

Our bed used to be on the floor, but I wanted something to raise it up for 2 reasons - under bed storage and to not have to get up out of bed from the floor. The 14 inch platform provides a lot of space underneath for shoeboxes, extra blankets, our laundry basket, and more. Also, getting out of bed is a lot easier! For the price, it feels extremely sturdy and does not make any squeaking or creaking sounds which is a huge plus. The only times we've heard sounds is when the mattress or frame is hitting the wall, but it's a simple fix of pushing the frame and bed either closer or farther from the wall (not the frame's fault, just the whole bed set up and wall). It was pretty easy to assemble based on the picture instructions. The only thing I'd rate negatively is that one of the support leg pieces had an extra 1/8" piece on it so it wouldn't go into the frame properly. I reached out to the customer support and they said to pull it off. Pliers did the job, but I feel like that was a random thing that shouldn't happen. But because it was fixable and support responded quickly I wouldn't take off a star.

Let me start off by saying that, although I'm very hands on, I've never put together a bed frame or platform before so this was a tad bit daunting. The box was heavy, as expected, but I didn't mind that. It shipped really fast and it arrived a day earlier!!! As I was putting it together, I just want to stay that you have to be very careful because it doesn't have written instructions. Just pictures so be careful of each part. Once you get everything sorted, it'll be very easy to put together. I've been sleeping on it since Thursday and I love it. It's extremely high (which is what drew me in because I could have storage under the bed), it's very sturdy, offers a lot of support for the mattress, and so far, the performance has been nice. If I remember, I'll give an update later on but as of right now, DEFINITELY BUY!

This bed frame was extremely well priced and well made. Definitely sturdy. As a plus size girl I don't feel afraid to sleep on it. AND! Super easy and fast assembly. Made my sleep 10x more enjoyable. Update: I can say, after having this bed frame for a couples months now, that I do not notice any broken pieces, or any bent bars or legs. It seems to be very well put together :). Will update after long-term use!
