These units do exactly what they are meant to do! If you have the confidence and financial where with all to try it yourself then go for it but, do your research first! Some of the cpu's are soldered to there copper lids. and you could ruin them permanently. (disclaimor; at your own risk: ...put alittle stress on the unit, and then use a good lighter with a fine flame to free it up. Solder melts at temps of regular lighter, but you don't want to heat the whole thing up and not for a long time. Put the heat in the middle , it'll pop off and take flame away immediately.
