Low value product with poor quality shipping. This is a cheap company that clearly can not properly ship its products. The USB came in smashed and the box itself was smushed. Do not buy from this company, and save your money from being wasted.

works well with Linux Mint 22.2 on old(mabye 10 year old) Dell laptop (doesn't have bluetooth built in). I had past problems finding a BT USB dongle that will work with this hardware, this one works well and is tiny so doesn't stick out(I've broken off large USB thumbs before). Only issue is it only connects after Mint boots up which can take several minutes, manually connecting is faster, works fine after Mint is stable. Range seems normal (about 30ft. very happy

100% Plug and Play on Kubuntu 24.04, starts working immediately. Works great with the Blueman Bluetooth Manager which is an application available within Linux Ubuntu / Kubuntu. Recommended.

Works great on Debian 13 Linux. When I first plugged it in, Debian kde didn't recognize it. lsusb shows realtek bluetooth radio. So I installed the firmware-realtek package and rebooted. It then works like a charm.

Was certainly not plug and play. Then I tried fiddling with the Linux terminal and the suggested commands. Then from other research I installed Linux Bluez. Partial success in recognizing other BT devices, but not my ear buds (two different brands). So back it went. Too good to be true (price wise), and so it was.

Works o.k for Windows 11. Problems with Linux. The instructions gave links to download drivers that are blocked, or contained errors. I was able to get it to work by searching for RTL8716B drivers. Even then it kept disconnecting. I eventually bought a different device which worked without issue.

This Bluetooth Adapter was immediately detected on my Linux systems that did not have internal Bluetooth. Works perfectly with peripherals. I like it.

Works also in Linux (mostly) but the logs show errors and here and there loses connectivity. I switched back to a StarTech BT 5 dongle - perfect, no errors.
