I've tried a few other "kits" that require you to add a magnet to the back of your phone or case to work with the holder. Those always damaged my phone by scratching the surface. If you have an android phone the easy solution is to get a mag safe phone case and this magnetic mount and call it a day. Easily secured to my vent and for months it has been sturdy without needing to readjust. Took only a minute to install and I haven't touched it since. I'll get one for each of my vehicles.

Wow! I love how the holder magnet pulls the phone in and centers it. Phone will not fall off this holder and the holder tightens on the air vent securely in my Rag 4. Phone or phone case must be compatible with magnet size!

I have vertical vents in my car, and I've always had difficulty finding something that would attach with enough stability to hold. I can't believe how stable this is in my air vent. I don't question the magnet as the phone has not fallen off even after running over huge potholes or teeth-rattling railroad tracks. I am using this with an iPhone 15 that is in a transparent case.

I travel far for work and I drive for Lyft on the side for extra $$$. I don't like the dash mounts because they take up a lot of space and I prefer my front window clear, so I kept buying and buying these Vent mounts and every single one of them would fall down because my phone is too heavy even though it would say they can withstand weight, i've tried the magnet mounts, the magnets wouldnt stick to the phone well enough. I decided to give this one more try and I am soo glad I did. When you first install this, you can feel the durability to tighten the knob and it doesnt dip, the mag on the phone sticks well and when you place your phone on it, it doesnt slide down. the first real vent mount I can trust to do its job even when driving over bumps.

Good product but make sure your vents are normal and not specially designed to look nice. If you have something made differently this wont grab right and fall off from time to time. The newer cars are starting to change the vents.

This has the best hold of any phone holder I have ever bought, fits very well with ford fusion vents and the magnet holds well. My phone has never fallen off, even when hitting the occasional pothole/speed bump
