Nice machine, good value.
Arrived on time. Assembly instructions were easy to understand and follow. It took about 30 minutes to assemble with included tools. Excellent quality, not too big. Tried it out for the first time. Great workout, seems to work most parts of the body. Better workout than I got with my now dead recumbent bike because it works arms, legs shoulders, who knows what else. Very happy that I bought this rowing machine as opposed to buying another recumbent exercise bike.

A starter rowing machine
Update 05/27 The support reached out to me & offered an upgraded rower, which has longer range & resistance. If you have been rowing already, I recommend their Pro version rather than the basic version. I am impressed by their customer obsession & how pro-actively they made things right for me. I highly recommend Yosuda & will look forward to buy their other home gym equipments in the future. ============ Amazon did good job in sales, shipping & support. Here is what happened - Item came without damage, assembly went fine & when I started rowing the counters stayed at 0's. I contacted the seller through the link on Amazon order page, twice & never heard back. Then I reached out to Amazon support who provided me with seller's support email. I contacted them, they asked for the video of the problem, diagnosed it to a faulty sensor cable(looks more like manufacturing defect to me) sent me replacement cable, I had to take everything down to replace & it worked. So now I can see my calorie burn go up(although I dont think it is accurate) I use very high end rowing machine at my gym & have multiple setting. So my comparison could be bit biased due to it. This rowing machine is silent(compared to the wind resistance one I used) But it doesnt provide enough tension on the high end. Also the range is small(the rowing bar goes all the way to the machine if I try to do full range) The counters all show something, but I highly doubt they are accurate at all. The rowing machine is stable, even at high rowing speed. It is movable easily and light weight. I think it can even be stored upright for apartment dwellers. The seat is soft & provides enough comfort for lengthy rowing sessions. If you want to buy something that is cheap & portable, look for this.

Provides a Good Overall Workout (Updated 02/26 for New Machine)
A weld failed on my 2-1/2-year-old exercise bike after 7,200 miles. The resulting 7 stitches convinced me to keep my workouts closer to ground level. This unit looked and sounded good. Assembly convinced me it’s pretty well built, and I’m enjoying the workouts… which are more challenging than the bike. It’s extremely well balanced for stowing upright, and tucks neatly against the wall. The wheels make rolling out for use a breeze. The only downside side I’ve found is the readout is obscured somewhat by the strap as you’re rowing. But the placement is logical… and it’s not that big a deal. The cellphone stand is a thoughtful touch, but I can’t see using a phone while you’re working out, except to listen to music or a podcast, etc. I haven’t tried a tablet yet, but a full-size iPad would probably work for watching videos while you work out. Just keep in mind, unlike with a bike, you can’t really do anything on a rower without stopping your workout. I’ve only had the rower for a few days, but I like the rhythmic nature of the workouts. Overall, I’m very happy with the build and performance. Update: I just passed the quarter-million-stroke mark. It took seven months, but I’m still loving this rower. I think I’m giving it a tougher workout than the manufacturer intended -I’ve had to replace a couple of minor parts - but when this one wears out, I plan to get another. One of my best fitness decisions ever! Update, Feb. 2026: After a half-million strokes on this machine, I ordered - and received - the next model up. Amazon won't let me review the new machine, though. Instead, they're forcing me here to "edit" this review. Let's just say this: I've enjoyed using the old model so much, I've replaced it with a more challenging model with greater resistance options. I've put about 7500 strokes on the new machine in the last 5 days, and I love it. Everything is slightly larger, so I've had to adjust my posture a bit, but the workout is great. I'm so glad I switched from an exercise bike. Finally, these machines are a certified bargain. You'll get a solid workout at a very reasonable price.

Good Rowing machine
good working well, just be check the size. It's good for my wife and daughter but for me its little, smaller (i am 6 feet 2 inches). Assembly was quick and easy. does the job. Good for daily workout or warm up. If you are taller see other versions of the same machine.

Exactly what I needed ! Simple and effective
Solid investment for anyone looking for a home workout. Assembly was quick and the build quality feels sturdy. The magnetic system is impressively quiet, making it ideal for small living spaces. While the onboard computer is minimal, the physical comfort of the seat and the smooth rowing motion more than make up for it.

Good machine, app is okay
UPDATE: 5 stars for customer service! Not only did the company read my review they reached out to me and offered me a replacement machine and gift card. I have been buying from Amazon for decades and this is the first time I’ve received this level of customer service. I’m excited to open up the updated machine and see how it works. Easy to put together, easy to use and it gives a good workout. The most annoying part though (and I wouldn’t have bought it if I had realized) is it’s a little frustrating it doesn’t give a split time, pace by 500m in meters or a few other key things you normally see on a rowing machine. The pace numbers is in feet/500m and sometimes I'm pretty sure it is just throwing out random numbers for fun. The pace gauge is also extremely wonky. If you take a break, the timer does stop but it takes a while for it to get it back together. It gives you some crazy numbers. You can do the math to do the split time so not the end of the world. The app is free which is nice but these couple of things make it kind of frustrating and hard to track your work out in progress. If you don’t know what any of that means and just want a good piece of exercise equipment. Something that seems durable, easy to put together and not so expensive that you don’t have to worry about your kids around it then I give it 5 stars.

Honest review.
Great value for the price. Setup was quick and easy—took about 20 minutes. The machine itself works well and has been useful for getting back into working out. That said, the foot pedals feel very fragile and I’m concerned they may break over time. Because of that, I sometimes keep my feet on the floor instead of using the pedals. I’m 6 ft tall and weigh around 315 lbs, so that may be a factor. Overall, for the price, it’s a solid starter option and does the job if you’re looking to ease back into exercise.

Absolutely worth the money!
I love this machine! I bought it two months ago and I've been rowing two miles a day ever since. Easy to assemble, sturdy and convenient to store in an apartment. I'm 5'10" and I think anyone over 6' might have issues. I would also recommend putting a towel or some kind of padding on the seat.
