Taylor Swift - Reputation Songbook | Piano, Vocal, Guitar Sheet Music | 15 Songs Including Look What You Made Me Do, Delicate, and More | Hal Leonard Music Book for Beginners and Advanced Players : Taylor Swift: desertcart.co.uk: Books Review: Great - My daughter is learning the guitar and piano and as a massive Taylor Swift fan, this has gone down a treat Review: Amazing Taylor Swift - As a songwriter Taylor just gets better and better. It is already impressive to have written so many great songs so young, and to transpose emotions musically, and write great lyrics, and to hear the musicality and rhythm in a spoken phrase. Sparks Fly (written when T was 16 or younger) is so up beat but written in a minor key: the minor used to anchor the upbeat and giving bite. Music Taylor has arranged pretty much plays itself - your hands take the shapes and the music implies or is open to the greater orchestration while being fully (ie not thin sounding) acoustic. If you play (piano) the songs slowly you can often hear other things like 'starlight' (better man?) or pent up tears (left hand all too well), or morse and funeral bell tolling (look what you made me do) while 'both hands' creates a whole that is integrated. I'm so impressed, so I was waiting for Reputation with impatience. I like that the Reputation songs are so spare - the lusciousness of youth and hopeful innocence are pared away to 4ths and minor keys cutting out any padding or gambits and just creating full spectrum happiness? There is such a sense of (champagne) bubbles rising like happiness in these songs. Honestly - Taylor can write anything. Amazing
