We adopted a kitten that brought with him a 2 inch soft play ball that he loves. As he got older, he started being able to carry it in his mouth. Throw the ball, he retrieves, carries it around in his mouth. But, it was just one ball and half the time I couldn't find it. By trial and error, I discovered that the toy balls for a kitten or cat should be about 2 inches if they are going to carry it in their mouth. Also, they have to be soft and somewhat sturdy - NOT hard - but with not too much fluffy. I am giving these to him two at a time and he loves them. They throw easily, don't roll too much, he fetches it in his mouth and likes to growl at me for trying to take it. Very entertaining to watch him play. The material is soft and slightly fluffy but I haven't had much problem with fluff coming off. I'd be worried if I started seeing pieces of the ball around the house or him trying to eat it, but so far the quality seems to be very good.

My cats are absolutely obsessed with these; I've purchased multiple times. My only complaint is that my cat can take them apart easily, though that may be because he's particularly rough with them. He will pull them apart so that I end up with fuzz chunks all over the place, but they're fairly easy to collect and throw out and then I can just grab a new pompom for him. Overall a nice, cost-effective and simple toy that they love and keeps them entertained for hours on end. Will continue to repurchase.

My little guy loves to play fetch, and I wanted to find him something he could chase after and pick up that would hopefully wean him off his beloved pipe cleaners. He wasn't into these at first -- maybe either the texture of the ball in his mouth put him off, or maybe they had a smell from the factory that he didn't like? But he has grown to favor these balls over pretty much any of his other toys save his favorite mousey from kittenhood. They are impressively easy to throw a good distance despite being essentially giant pom-poms, they retain their shape quite well, and they are just the right size for him to grab and carry with him. He likes to bat these around and they all end up under the sofa fairly quickly. Both him and I are happy campers.

My cats absolutely love this little blaster. The balls shoot out with a fun bounce and roll unpredictably, keeping them entertained for long stretches. The movement encourages lots of pouncing and chasing, and it’s safe for both my cats and my furniture. The blaster is lightweight plastic and definitely budget-friendly. It doesn’t have great range, but for the price I wasn’t expecting it to. It still holds up well to daily play and gives my cats tons of fun. Overall, it’s a great way to keep indoor cats active and happy.

If you have a cat that plays fetch better than your dog...you have to get these!!! However, be prepared to have a stick long enough to sweep these out from under your fridge and dryer haha!!! Best toy I've gotten for enrichment play

If you are like me the vats love them but they always disappear haha so best to buy in bulk so you are not constantly standing on your head looking under the couch for them. They hold up well

I am extremely disappointed with this product. My cat would rather chase balls than eat, and the advertising for this toy made it seem like the ideal item. I eagerly waited its arrival, thrilled to see my cat's reaction, but when I tried to launch one of the pom poms, it didn't even make it out of the barrel. I tried again and even tried a different pom pom but to no avail. This is a total waste of money, but worse, everything similar offered by Amazon looks to be the same poor quality.

My cat loves this game. She loves chasing these balls. When she’s done chasing them she’ll bring one to me so I can shoot it again! I was very easy to train 🤣🤣

My cat loves them and chases them all over the place, indoors and out. She seems to enjoy posting them all under the cooker which I then have to remove every week or so when I see there are no more around. They don't disintegrate (which is why I bought them) and are comfortable and a good size for her mouth. They're large enough not to get sucked up in the hoover.
