Worth your money
Honestly, itโs a well made solid microphone for the price . It was well packaged and easy to put together. The arm is strong enough as long as you donโt mess with it a lot . The mounting can be a problem due to the clamp size but for me the stability was great. My friends says I sound crispy which is good but havenโt fully tested out if it captures background noise . For compatibility it was pretty easy to connect just need to check settings on your console to make sure . It comes with only one wire management strap thing to wrap the wire nice and tight , you might need to buy like 2-4 more though. You can connect a AUX cable , change LED color , adjust volume , and mute on the microphone.

RECOMMEND
Iโm honestly really impressed with my FIFINE microphone. It exceeded my expectations for the price. The sound quality is super clear and crisp, with very little background noise, which makes it perfect for things like gaming, streaming, recording, or even just talking with friends. It was also really easy to set up, I didnโt have to deal with anything complicated, it basically worked right away which I loved. The build feels sturdy and not cheap at all, and it looks really nice on my setup too. What surprised me the most is how professional it sounds compared to more expensive microphones. Overall, itโs such a great value and Iโd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality mic.

Outstanding gear for way less than they should be charging!
I decided to try my hand at streaming again but didn't want to shell out 200$ for equipment again not knowing if I'd stick with it. Did some research, watched some reviews and settled on this one the Fifine AM8. Honestly I did not have super high expectations because it came with a boom arm and the mic for like 60 bucks total? Most sub 100$ mics on amazon just aren't very high quality, but boy was I mistaken with this one. Out of the box this mic was crystal clear with vocal quality and super easy to start using. It didn't come with any proprietary drivers or software which normally some might have issues with but I use OBS and customize the nitty gritty stuff with filters and settings inside of OBS so I wasn't missing anything. It was plug and play which is always appreciated. The cable that came with it was USBC to USBA which I found make the audio a tiny bit crackly, still great quality for discord calls, but when it came to streaming it was a little more than I was hoping for. So I bought a USBC to USBC cable and the fuzziness immediately went away. I would absolutely love to try this with XLR since its also built into the mic, but since I don't have an audio mixer this review is mainly about USBC to USBC. The pop filter is great making P and S sounds less harsh. I found by place the mic right next to my mouth and not in front of it also helped a lot and the sound was able to hit the top of the mic (because its dynamic) with no issue without being too harsh. From the sides and back the mic barely picked anything up (thats what we want to happen) and with simple noise suppression or noise gates that went away completely. The boom arm does not come with a shock mount which honestly would have been amazing. I did notice without all of my filters and audio adjustments in OBS that if I gently tap my desk, the mic pics up the vibration very easily even though its on a boom arm. I couldnt find any shock mounts that fit this either. It would be great to have the option to buy that accessory to complete the entire mic ensemble. Otherwise everything about this mic is fantastic and has far exceeded all of my expectations when it comes to what I was hoping to receive. I am blown away by the quality for the price, my subscribers think the voice quality is extremely clear and easy to understand, so if theyre happy so am I. ------------------------------------------------------------ Update: After about 5 months I ran into an issue where even using USBC i would start getting crackly fuzziness in the mic. The issue followed the mic around so I knew it wasn't any of my settings. It got pretty bad to where it was affecting streams. I contacted the company and they sent me troubleshooting steps on how to resolve the issue, I followed them all and unfortunately the issue did not resolve. Fifine decided it was likely a hardware issue or something faulty with the microphone, asked for my address, and sent me one in 2 days to replace it. The customer service from FIFINE is absolutely outstanding! They not only saved my but on stream by getting a mic to me within my next streams schedule but stayed in contact with me the entire time start to finish making sure I was helped to my satisfaction and that they did everything to assist me in a way that resolved the issue. Fifine is an absolutely amazing company and I will buy stuff from them specifically going forward because a great product + a great price + outstanding customer service area literally everything I look for in companies I buy products from. Super impressed by everything start to finish so far!

Impressed!
If you are a streamer and looking for a Dynamic Microphone on a budget this one will not let you down! It has great sound quality for the price and both XLR and USB-C options sound great. The only complaint from me is that I am not a big fan of the tap to mute style. I prefer a button mute but that's just me. The build is encased in a plastic shell while the pop filter (which seems to be very high quality material that's not just a standard foam) covers a aluminum? or metal grill. I am not a huge fan of RGB on products but I do agree it is an attractive feature if you have a nice setup. Now the glaring issue is not the Microphone itself but the desk mount arm that comes with it. Now I purchased this bundle on a sale so i won't say I got burned in any way but this desk arm microphone mount is really weak. It's not any better than the 20-30 dollar microphone desk mounts than you can buy anywhere. It's springs and build will make any noise that taps the desk or frame of the mount send noise all the way through and pickup on the microphone. The Setup was simple so all you will need is an XLR cable if you want to plug into an audio interface but it does come with a USB-C cable if you prefer connecting it directly to the computer.

SO easy to use and FANTASTIC QUALITY!!!!
This mic is a game changer for me. I have been picking up some freelance gigs doing narration for audiobooks and voice overs for videos, and before now I honestly didn't have professional recording equipment (just my iphone). This mic sounds amazing, looks amazing, is super lightweight and easy to set up! I am so glad I got the flexible arm so I can freely move the mic around. This mic even picks up my voice without getting any background noise (like my dog barking, or my roommate turning on the television unexpectedly), which is SO important when you are trying to submit a high-quality recording to someone. Don't even hesitate to buy this. If you're nervous to invest too much money on equipment and/or are getting your feet wet in the world of voice recording, this is the mic for you!

A great entry level mic for a casual user like myself
I have nothing but good things to say about this microphone. If you don't want to read a long review, the tl;dr: This is a great plug-n-play microphone that has great sound quality and a price that can't be beat. When the pandemic hit in 2020, I started playing online games with friends. When things went back to normal a few years later, we kept playing online as many of us had moved to different areas of the US. During that time, I used a nice set of bluetooth headphones and that was adequate. We mostly played strategy games, board games, or poker games where sound quality didn't matter. In 2024 we hopped on the Helldivers 2 train and the bluetooth headphones just weren't cutting it. To use the microphone with bluetooth, you have to accept the sound changes from full stereo to hands-free mono. For a game like Helldivers 2, that just didn't work. I couldn't hear anything at all. So I decided to invest in a microphone. I know nothing at all about microphones and just wanted something relatively cheap that would work. I did a little research and the main thing people said was to get a "dynamic mic" as opposed to a "condenser mic". Shocker, the dynamic mics are more expensive, often costing $100+. I ended up getting this Fifine, which was significantly cheaper. And to be honest, I wouldn't be able to tell it was a cheap model. The quality of this mic looks really good and feels solid. It uses USB-C which is nice, and even has an XLR jack for the serious audio people (I don't know anything about this -- I just use the USB jack). It is seriously plug-n-play. It took me all of 5 minutes to unbox and get set up at my desk. It just...works. The only additional recommendation I'd make. Even though this is supposed a "dynamic mic" which only picks up sounds right next to the mic, I found this still picked up all my keyboard strokes and could even pick up mouse clicking. The solution to this if you have an Nvidia card is Nvidia Broadcast. It is free and it has some sort of noise filtering that does an excellent job to remove background noise like what I mentioned above. If you need a stand and a mic and don't want to dive down the rabbit-hole of audio equipment, this is probably your best value-to-quality option. It's no nonsense, dead easy to set up, and in conjunction with noise filtering software like Nvidia Broadcast sounds phenomenal.

Great quality NO XLR CABLE
TLDR: if youโre wondering if it comes with a XLR cable, it doesnโt. Sound quality is great. I bought the fifine audio mixer to go with it. First I want to start off with the positives. This mic is easy to set up and is crisp and clean sounding. I did buy the fifine audio mixer to go with it and do run the mic through that via an XLR cable; but even with the default USB plug in to the computer the sound is pretty good especially for the price point. There is a mute button on the mic which is rendered useless by the audio mixer but thatโs fine with me as I prefer the mute button on the mixer. The mics built in mute button is touch screen and I was finding myself constantly accidentally muting when I was doing adjustments. There are RGB lights on the mic and they do not distract while playing games which is nice. The arm is sturdier than one I purchased as a stand alone for $20 and feels nicer as well/has better mobility. It isnโt a super fancy mic arm but itโs really good again for the price point. I bought the audio mixer by the same brand and an XLR cable to go along with the mic because I wasnโt sure what the audio was like and wanted something really clean and professional sounding as I am a streamer. When looking through my own reviews of microphones and this one in specific I wanted to know if it came with and XLR cable and it does not which is why I wanted to note it in my own review. I want to clarify that I bought it knowing that it most likely did not as it was not listed on what was in the box or in any of the pictures. The box comes with the arm which is in 2 pieces (the arm itself and the part that attaches the arm to the desk) and the mic itself. I am actually very happy with this microphone quality and the arm. I was actually waiting for my old arm to break but decided to move some stuff around earlier and try out the new one and it feels really smooth to move around which is lovely for me, I can move my mic around without creaking!! Anyway I highly recommend this mic it was easy to set up and sounds great!

REALLY IMPRESSED!!
Absolutely wonderful!! Great for the price and pleasantly surprised!! It is good for podcasting..video game streaming and music recording. You can literally just plug and go. I was so astonished how it eliminates that annoying low-end white noise frying sound you get with other USB mics. It was so clean and clear!! Really happy with the purchase

Great Sound Quality for the Price
I am very happy with this microphone. It looks great on the desk and feels well made. With a little adjustment to the settings, it delivers clear, high-quality voice recordings with very little background noise. The sound is clean, natural, and much better than I expected for the price. Overall, this is an excellent microphone and a great value. I would definitely recommend it.

As perfect as expected
It is perfect it captures a lot of details and I don't think you will need better than that if you're are a starter or even mid user.

Great for recording and everyday video call use!
I was looking for an external mic for podcast recording, video narration and day to day video communication calls. The fidelity is high, bass is balanced, noise cancelling - superb! People on the receiving end of calls noticed the night and day difference in sound quality. For the price, this is one of the best mic's I've ever owned and the fact that it comes with a boom makes it a package which is very difficult to ignore.
