INKBIRD WiFi Hygrometer IBS-TH3-PLUS Temp Humidity Sensor with Display

The humidity and temperature sensor came well packaged with everything needed including a charging cable and manual that was easy to follow. It took me a couple tries to get it connected but nothing hard, just make sure it’s connecting to a 2.4g Wi-Fi network. The built in stand works just fine for placing the sensor about anywhere. The screen easy to read locally, and I can check temps and humidity from anywhere on my phone or tablet. It does exactly what I was hoping it would. Would recommend.

This is a Wifi thermometer. I already have a wifi thermometer, but I like the display on this one with the big numbers that are easy to see. Unfortunately, this one doesn't work properly. Here are the problems that I experienced: 1. The temperature readout is off by about 2.0F. I checked it. 2. The display is much slower to react to temperature changes than my old thermometer. 3. Wifi connectivity. The wifi symbol flashes which according to the troubleshooter means poor wifi signal. Solution is to move it closer to the router. Well it still flashes even when right next to the router. The troubleshooter offers no other solutions. Either way the app doesn't work properly because of this connectivity problem. I was hoping to use it to control a window AC that is plugged in to a Wifi smart plug. Obviously because of the problems that I mentioned it won't work for that, unlike my old thermometer which work's perfect.

Great product for monitoring temperature anywhere in the world. The first one worked so well I bought a second. Now I know if I need to worry about pipes freezing in the winter. Easy setup and great value. Maintains connectivity.

I use two of these in my garage to monitor temps and humidity. They are connected to wifi and I have them set to update every hour. I have freezing alerts set in the app. Battery life is great - I have to recharge them every 6-8 months. Very happy with the quality and performance of these.

I bought this item to remotely monitor the temperature of our unheated vacation home during colder temperatures so we would know when it was time to drain the pipes to prevent freezing & cracking. I liked the item because of it's WiFi function and the rechargeable battery which many (or all) of similar devices didn't have. I gave it a 3-Star rating because of some problems I ran into while calibrating the temperature & humidity value to a known temperature & humidity display on our digital thermostat. I placed the device right on top of the thermostat to compare the temp & humidity readings. I found that this device needed some calibration to make the readings correlate. While trying to use the Calibrate procedure, I got erratic & confusing operation...I've attached 2 short videos showing my Temperature & Humidity Calibration operation. As you can see in the attached Temperature Calibration video, entering my desired -2 temperature calibration value results in a value of -3.6 after confirming the -2 value. I have found that I need to enter a value of -1.1 to give me my desired Temperature calibration of -2. I triedalso including a Humidity Calibration video but it only allows me to attach a single video. That video shows that while the entered value for Humidity Calibration is retained after confirming (unlike the Temperature value!), entering of the Humidity Calibration value changes the Temperature Calibration value each time a new entry for the Humidity value is made! VERY strange operation! While this operation is very strange, proper calibration can be performed by entering the desired Humidity value FIRST and then entering a -1.1 Temperature value to get my desired -2 degree Temperature calibration. I'm presently working with the Product Support people to determine if the device is defective or whether they all work like that.

Like the a screen to see the status without using the app, but also still the wifi connection for remote monitoring and data collection.

This is by far the worst product I've ever bought on Amazon. I've had two of them. The good news is the setup is easy and only takes a few minutes. The rest isn't so good. The first one I had connected to my wifi exactly once and then never worked again. The second one worked for about a week. In that time, it connected every hour (as I set it up) for the first few days, then became sporadic. It also wasn't very accurate - sometimes it was only off by a couple of degrees, but one time it recorded a temp of over 2400 degrees F in my living room (I expected to come home and find my house in flames, but it wasn't), and another time it recorded a 20 degree shift in the middle of the night when my heat wasn't on. After a week or so, it refused to connect to the wifi, just like the previous one. I'm pretty tech savvy, and wasted waaaaaaay too much time trying to trouble shoot this thing because I really wanted it to work. Be smart, don't buy this thing. You've read the reviews I should have, now move along!!

Easy to set up. I monitor my grow room temperature in the winter to make sure it’s not freezing. In summer to monitor humidity and temperature. Connects easy with the app that is free.
