This might be the most appealing incense I've ever smelled. I'm not a connoisseur, but I burn incense regularly and I've tried products from a dozen or so manufacturers. This is my first Calmveda incense and my first time ever smelling Oud, so I don't know how this compares with high-end Oud, but it smells FANTASTIC to me. There are definitely floral notes detectable (particularly rose), but I would disagree with the reviewer who described this as "old lady perfume." The aroma is uplifting, intoxicating, and complex. Every time I open the box, I'm delighted. As for burning, it produces a moderate amount of smoke, enough that I can see it in shafts of sunlight but not so much that the room gets cloudy. It produces more smoke than Japanese incense but less than Satya. The sticks burn for quite a long time, up to 45 minutes. The only con is that they tend to go out frequently. This is fine with me, as I don't usually burn a whole stick at once anyway, but it could get annoying if you have to frequently relight it. Experimenting with different holders or locations may help.

UPDATED REVIEW I am changing this to five stars only because the seller reached out and explained the mixture of resins that created that smell. Though not to my liking, I appreciate that the seller explained and graciously offered a refund. Smell, I suppose, is subjective, so while I would not order this product again because of the seller's customer service I would definitely do business with them again. ORIGINAL REVIEW I decided to try a different brand than usual--bad idea. This smells NOTHING like agarwood. I own the essential oil and my other brand smells like it. But this? It has that heavy perfume-y scent found in cheap incense. For the price of this incense--it's the same as my regular brand--I am VERY displeased. I may as well have saved some money and gotten those sticks they sell at Walmart because that's what it smells like. I initiated a return but Amazon's policy is a hassle for me and means I'm probably stuck with them.

I'm so Impressed with this product it smells so wonderful. Having tried other So-called OUD incense. this was the best overall.

This incense is one of the yummies scents I have ever smelled in my life. I usually burn charcoal & resin incense but this is so delicious I keep ordering it. Someone always comments on how great it smells too. Just order it-you’ll not regret it!

This smells so good! I got the "Agarwood Oud" and found a bundle with incense burners. I found my new favorite incense brand! I also love that I am supporting women by using this brand. These burn for 30-40 minutes and make my house smell Heavenly! There are 3 separate packages of 12-15 sticks in the box making this a great deal. I HIGHLY recommend this brand! 👌

Smells so clean without the toxic charcoal. I love it! It has a strong aroma even before burning it. Highly recommended.

I like oud, especially from assam and that’s why I ordered this incense since it was described as such, I thought it would be a primarily oud incense, but it’s mostly a cloying old lady flower scent, the one stick I used was strong and lasted a long time but that wasn’t a plus in my situation because it was a horrible scent to me, I can’t even be in the same room with the box without getting a headache, I’m sure there would be people who would enjoy this incense and they’d be better able to find it if it was described honestly as a strong old style flower perfume scent, why sell it to someone who is looking for an oud incense? I’m throwing the box away after a single use, a waste that could have been avoided if they’d described it accurately.

I use incense an awful lot I got these as they are marked are premium resin well all I can say is she smell isn’t that strong on dragons blood all of the others scents are beautiful and I subscribe to them all they are that good quality , you can tell care and upmost respect has gone into making these and the sticks are definitely the best at least you know it’s from temple flowers no toxic materials and it pays to help the people making them definitely worth paying that it extra trust me other than dragons blood I have loved them all so I have updated my review after trying all the scents they are definitely the best I’ve been a satya customer for years I’m not now and buy only from this brand as it’s so good
