Great for your large albums!
I was able to fit one of these onto a LaserDisc box set which is about half an inch thick. It was a tight fit, so definitely not something you want to mess with regularly, but perfectly adequate for your infrequently used box sets. For a normal oversized album, these fit much better and are easy to put on. PROS: Heavy duty plastic will protect your records. I have not had any issues with these sleeves adding static to my records. CONS: These are VERY slippery, so a stack of them will fall over if you so much as look at them wrong.

Definitive Measurement Guide (Read Below)
I purchased these outer sleeves without a definitive answer as to whether or not they would fit my box sets. I figured since I've now been able to measure everything, I would provide the dimensions for anyone else looking for the answers. The absolute maximum dimensions these can handle are as follows: 12-5/8" (Width) x 12-5/8" (Height) x 1-1/16" (Depth) If your box set is wider than 12-5/8", it simply won't fit. If your box set is taller than 12-5/8", it will stick out the top. Theoretically, these sleeves could accommodate a box that is 1-1/4" in depth (as advertised), however it would need to be smaller than 12-5/8" x 12-5/8" to achieve this. With my box sets, I found that the ones that were on thicker side (over 7/8") tended to be the larger H x W size as well. If you had a set that was, say, 12-1/2" x 12-1/2", then it could probably fit a 1-1/4" depth easily. What I also discovered is that there is no single size (H x W) of a given box set. Some of them are totally square, others are not. Some of the Deutsche Grammophon boxes are under 12-1/2" tall, but 12-5/8" wide, so they fit just fine. Also, some boxes (especially thicker ones) tend to have corners which are much more square than thinner boxes, where the corners can be a little more rounded and easier to insert. As stated above, if your box is 12-5/8" (Width) x 12-5/8" (Height) x 1-1/16" (Depth), the outer sleeve will fit like shrink-wrap. It might take you a solid two minutes to carefully align everything and slowly insert it into the sleeve, but when you do, it feels sturdy. I didn't have any problems with any sleeves splitting, even at max capacity. Just be patient, work slowly, and you'll be fine. QUALITY: I tend to use 3mil ultra-clear Polypropylene for any kind of outer sleeve (usually resealable ones for regular jackets and gate-folds). However, in this instance for a box set, I think I actually prefer these Polyethylene sleeves. The polyethylene isn't quite as clear, but it's far more pliable and has a satin feel to it. This makes it much easier to insert the box sets into the sleeve. I couldn't say if this is legitimately 3mil in thickness (probably not), but it's definitely acceptable for this application. Again, although something like the Polypropylene is has a more rigid/robust feeling, it will also tend to crinkle and crackle a lot more than the smoother-feeling polyethylene. If you need something bigger than this, my recommendation would be the "Ultimate Outer Boxed Set (Pack of 25)", made by Sleeve City (sleevecityusa.com). These will fit almost anything, as they are oversized at 14" x 14". They are also 2.5mil ultra-clear Polypropylene. Hope this helps anyone who had questions like me. Happy collecting. P.S. This review is for the 25 Pack of sleeves. I do not know if any of the other quantities are the same exact product.

Fits most boxed sets but not the biggest!
These don't fit, always an issue, the boxed sets I bought them for but they are great for other boxed sets that I have so no complaints

Comically large.
I won’t rate them poorly because they DO give you the dimensions, but these are just way too big for your standard issue gatefold. The photo is a very sturdy heavy cardboard Tone Poet gatefold of a Dexter Gordon record. My fingertip is at the edge of the LP cover, top end, with the jacket pressed all the way to the bottom of this sleeve. There’s nearly an inch of extra space. It’s a similar fit even with large, heavy Music Matters Jazz reissues. It’s more like putting your gatefolds in a bag then a sleeve. Too much is probably better than not enough, but when you’re sliding a bunch of these into a IKEA Kallax bookshelf, they just tend to slide right off the LP. Nevertheless they DID post the measurements and they are accurate. But for anything but the largest triple albums or thin box sets, they are overkill. The quality is decent and the price is right otherwise. If you need HUGE outer sleeves, these are fine. If you collect audiophile jazz reissues like me, look elsewhere unless you don’t mind baggy sleeves. Really wish MoFi made a slightly larger outer sleeve.

Fit the massive 3LP NIN The Fragile
I'd been struggling to find something that would fit the NIN massive 3LP The Fragile (dimensions 12.4 x 12.4 x .71 inches). These oversized album sleeves comfortably fit this record. There was no struggle getting the album into the sleeve! Highly recommend.

Perfect for thicker volumes!
Just what I needed for my oversized 3LP volumes and smaller box sets! Nicely accommodates the thicker MOFI One-Steps, Third Man Vault releases, and more. Highly recommended!

Bordering on useless and not as advertised
Not a particularly useful product that is very oddly sized. I ordered this expecting it to be big enough to fit several box sets around 1" thick; they don't stand a prayer of fitting. However, the sleeves are also too big to fit most gatefolds with any measure of practicality. It's baggy when used on NIN's "The Fragile," but doesn't come close to fitting several 4 LP box sets I own. If you prefer a snug fit for regular LPs and gatefolds and/or need something to fit smaller box sets, I would not recommend this product.

These fit oversized Album sets
I specifically bought for the new Rhino ZZ Top Five Album set and they just fit this box set like a glove. They do have a flap, but this works out great in the case of this set as it covers the side of the set like it was custom made. It should reduce wear and tear on this pricey set.

Good sleeves for 2LPs & 3LPs. It could be a bit more oversized, as 3LPs or 4LPs are a tight fit, but an otherwise good product.

I usually get the slim ones 1.5mil for my single and doubles. Those extra large will be perfect for your quadruple album and over. Extra large albums and thick box sets that no other type of sleeves will handle.

There is no way you can fit this thin and flimsy sleeve on a box set 1 1/4" thick. I have a Faces box 1" thick and it will not slip over. Not buying this again.

Excellent product. Have used it for a few 3 and 4 album records and the sleeves have fit well.
