I bought this for my Christmas tree as the plug for the lights was in a really hard-to-reach place, and it meant crawling under the tree each time we wanted to turn the lights on or off. I simply plugged the tree plug into this, which plugs into the mains, and controlled the lights with a button. It made life so much easier and our guests were so impressed and many went away and bought one. The rest of the year we’ll use it too for different things. It’s so handy!

These sockets have been great for Christmas decorations. Great price really easy to use. Highly recommend this product.
