Increases desktop space
The FULAIM Boom Mic Arm is super sturdy and durable, a little hard to adjust in the beginning but that helps to keep it from moving or falling when mounted thankfully. It's foldable and adjustable from numerous angles! I found this super helpful when making it work with my dual monitors and desk, allowing for a compact format. It fit a little snug to my ikea malm desk, but still able to slide onto it. Has rubber on the clamp so it doesn’t not interfere or potentially mark your desktop surface thankfully. I was able to adjust the mic arm so it does not interfere with the view of my monitors. It even fit with my limited desk space and dual monitor setup, attaching perfectly with my Fifine AM8 mic. The dark gray metal is super sleek. I personally wrapped some vines around it for a bit more visual appeal. Now I finally have more desktop space for my cat, gaming mouse, and other desk accessories.

Best microphone arm for against the wall setups
I’ve browsed probably hundreds of different mic arms but this was the best one that worked for my situation. Most mic arms extend back first before the arm extends out, which means you need space behind the microphone. However, you can mount this stand against the wall side of the desk and it’s long enough that it extends out easily, and you can hang it above or reach out from the bottom like a low profile mic arm. It’s extremely versatile, ive been looking for a similar mic arm but haven’t found one that’s similar in set up. The material is very durable and the arm is durable, it’s a bit stiff but it extends very far without falling down and has no issues holding a Samson Q2U without an issue. It’s definitely on the heavier side but that’s because of the quality of the material. The price was right compared against the more expensive mic arms! Highly recommended!

A Solid Performer with a Minor Quirk
I recently purchased and tested this Boom Arm, and overall, it has proven to be a stellar addition to my setup. Designed with durability and flexibility in mind, this boom arm offers impressive features. However, it does come with a notable caveat that potential buyers should be aware of. Pros: Sturdy Construction: The Boom Arm is built with high-quality materials, providing a robust and stable structure. The arm itself is capable of supporting a variety of microphones. Adjustability: One of the standout features is the impressive range of motion. The boom arm allows for easy and precise positioning of the microphone, ensuring optimal placement. Easy Installation: Setting up the boom arm is a breeze. The included instructions are clear and concise, making the assembly process straightforward, even for those who may not be tech-savvy. Cons: Loosening Base Over Time: The only significant drawback I've encountered is that the bottom base tends to loosen over time. Despite tightening the screw by removing the rubber base, periodic adjustments have been necessary to maintain stability. This issue, while not a dealbreaker, can be a bit inconvenient for users who prefer a set-and-forget type of setup. Conclusion: This Boom Arm is an excellent choice for content creators and podcasters seeking a reliable and adjustable solution for their recording needs. Its durable construction and flexibility make it a standout product in the market. However, users should be aware of the occasional need to tighten the bottom base to ensure long-term stability. Despite this minor quirk, the boom arm's overall performance and features make it a worthwhile investment for those looking to enhance their setup.

Losing it's mojo...
I've had it for about a year and a half and it's been ok- a little tough to manipulate - but now the joints are starting to fail and it will not hold up the mic. Unfortunately there is no way to tighten the joints. It would be such a simple fix!

Super stiff & sturdy...for now?
I've had this new arm set up for a week with a Shure SM7B. This is a solid product with a couple quirks. First, the good: it's a solid metal arm with a nice matte finish & brushed silver accents. The three segments are fully open in the middle so I can use external zip-ties or velcro to channel my mic cable. The clamp already has nice soft rubber on both sides, so I'm not worried about marring my desk finish. So far everything feels very sturdy and dependable. Now, the not so good: out of the box, this arm is too tight for me to adjust without both hands. Even with my tank of a mic installed, I still have to give it a good tug to extend it at my desk. For most products, I could just make a quick adjustment to resolve this. For the Fulaim arm, though, there is no use adjustment available. If there are screws accessible, they're hidden under the silver caps at each joint and I don't feel confident in removing those without damaging them - there is no obvious access so I wouldn't consider them user-serviceable. This is my biggest concern with this mic arm - it's strong for now, but as it breaks in I can't do anything about sag/loosening. This is effectively a disposable product. Additionally, the first segment after the clamp only bends ~15deg in any direction. there's no way to go lower-profile with this segment, and no way to standoff from the clamp with an additional extension without some clever custom manufacturing. Most professional-grade products intentionally expose screws & threads so that they can be customized for a variety of use cases. Fulaim does not. You get what you got and it either works or doesn't. In my case, for now, it works. I'll be continuing to use this product heavily over the next week to watch for sag while the joints break in. I'll update this review if I see it start to weaken (which will be a quick return!) or if it holds up better than expected.

Strong solid build!
First off, I was shocked at the weight of this microphone arm. It looks like it's going to be heavier, but it's surprisingly light weight, and still VERY sturdy. The joints are a little tight or stuff right out of the box, but I'm not looking to readjust it every 15 seconds. It works extremely well for me. Easily attaches to my desk and didn't leave any marks. Extends out just as far as my older spring-loaded arm, but folds up in a much more compact body. Fits the two standard microphone screw-set size, and total setup was just a couple of minutes. As I said, the initial stiffness of the joints is there, but I assume it will become easier with some use. It does swivel around the mounting point easily. My only wish is that the first arm would extend a little further down at the mount point. (in my photo, it is fully extended) of course, allowing it to go too far can change the weight/stress on the mount, so it may be more intentional to stop where it does. Strong all-metal build and could probably hold a dslr camera! I'm getting an adapter to find out.
