Problem Solved
I use underglazes almost exclusively because I want the control and options for detail that they provide. Most items are finished with food safe clear glaze. These underglazes are a little bit thicker consistency than the 2oz bottles, which is great because they can be watered down, meaning that they’ll go even farther. They’re opaque with 3+ coats, like most underglazes. Add a little more water and put some in a needle-nosed glue bottle (used for quilling) or tiny brushes to add fine details. Or pour 2+ colors onto a plastic bag, swirl, and place your piece on top for a marbled effect that will dazzle your admirers. My only wish is that the 6th bottle was green instead of orange.

Good buy
The colours in this set are vibrant. The yellow and orange are super bright on my bowls and cups. This under glaze covers well with 2 coats and easy to paint on. Fires smooth and bright.

Received used product
Super bummed, I checked my glazes as soon as they arrived and noticed the yellow was open and used with almost half of it missing. I needed the glazes asap so I choice to keep them but really not stoked.

Underglaze is thick and gloppy
Have ordered Speedball under glaze previously and was pleased with the product. However this time the seal on the jar of yellow was previously opened and only half full as though it had been returned. The jars containing white, royal blue, red, and orange were only 3/4 full and the under glaze was the consistency of oat meal. Thick and lumpy. The only jar that was satisfactory was the black. These must have been sitting around drying out for a long time. Not at all happy with this purchase.

Excellent underglaze, can mix the primary colors to make other colors.
Used for glazing ceramics.

Not up to standards I would expect (even at the lower price)
I have tried red, it isn't. It is--charitably described--a brick color. Not what I wanted. I was looking for RED. I have used black and white, both of these fire as expected. I have combined the (royal) blue with the red and have come up with an acceptable purple color. I have not used yellow or orange, since they are not colors I would need. If you are using it in a school setting, where kids just smear around and the price is important, go for it. Otherwise, you might see my description of the results to see if this sets well with your needs.

Speedball, me encantan sus productos pero creo que hay un problema con los envases de los underglazes. Los pedí y llegaron los esmaltes derramados. Por favor, revisen ese tema para asegurar que el producto llega en buenas condiciones.

The product was separated and gloppy, no option to get a replacement!

The colours of these underclasses are so rich! Love them. Don’t know why, but they seem to be dry to spread with a brush and are quite dry. I’m still wondering if there is an easy way to glaze with these?
