Well made and easy to use.
I used these to hang an 80 pound display cabinet and they worked great. I now have 90 fishing reels on display a that cabinet and it’s holding perfectly. I did add two screw holes to align with the studs.

Very sturdy
I picked this up to hang a cabinet with a mirror on our drywalled surface. I was concerned about the weight of the cabinet, and this was exactly what I needed. The metal is thick and sturdy. It comes with six small screws (which I used on the cabinet side), three long screws (to be drilled into the wooden studs), and four smaller screws with fitting plugs. The hardest part of this was making sure each half was mounted to make the cabinet level...which isn't really difficult. The screws held very well on all sides, and it was no problem to slide the cabinet into the mount on the wall. It does make the cabinet stick off of the wall about 1/4 inch, since the bracket requires the space. The cabinet is very sturdy, now, and works well.

Strong-Low Profile Support
I made a Shadowbox for a few of my associated retirement items. The wood was salvaged from the top deck of the Historic US Submarine, USS Nautilus - SSN 571. Needless to say, the wood is very dense, making it not only difficult to work with, but quite heavy as well. The box weighs in at a 18 lb's - 7 oz's, so I needed a good sturdy means of support if I was planning to hang it, rather than set it on a shelf. Since I have other retirement items to display alongside as well, I decided to hang it. The French Cleat seemed to be the ideal solution, so after a fairly thorough search, I decided on this one. The box itself is 28 inches wide, so the 17" cleat was all I needed to get me on a stud. Super simple to set and install, and the box only sits about 1/4" (6.5mm) of the wall at the top. I have a large 5 foot wide picture to hang for a friend, so I will be using a larger set there. This is the one however, very well made. I would most definitely recommend this kit.

Sturdy and easy to install
Easy to install on wall and the picture. The package showed up with not enough fasteners if I needed to use all the cleats. Not a huge problem as I have 10 million screws out in the garage. Made out of thick stamped aluminum and each cleat will support 20#. I used two to hang an antique transom with leaded glass. Found it easiest to mount the cleats adjacent to each other on the wall and the transom

Very good quality compared to others
These were great. I had two large paintings to hang and these did the job. One was 82" long and the other was 50"x50". A week later I purchased another large piece and made a mistake of purchasing another, slightly smaller French cleat from another seller as I only needed one. That one did not compare to these. I actually used excess hardware from this kit (screws and anchors) on the other kit as this kit had so much better hardware. I am very pleased with this. Each painting takes about an hour to hang with about half of it being the measuring and math to get it to hang just where I want it. I measure the piece, then use painters tape to put an outline of it on the wall so I can judge if it looks right to me. I move the placement around till I am happy. Then I put the cleat on the frame (use a level) then I measure the distance from the inside of the lip of the frame cleat, to the top of the frame. Lets say that is 3 inches. I then hang the wall cleat so that the point the two cleats interlock, is 3" from where I want the top of the painting to go. Use a level. It works every time but use the painters tape method to make sure it is where you will be happy with the painting being as this is not as easy as just putting a nail in.

Used these to hang a very large and heavy mirror. Was able to attach to 4 studs and it worked perfectly.

It's really for super light frames and overpriced. Couldn't use it for my project so I gave it away to a handyman who might find use for it at some other project so I don't waste space storing it in my home.

I hung a 55kg mirror with this cleat and the cleats were well made and interlocked well and helped account for a minor variation in the wall without much difficulty.

I find this method of hanging heavier items easier to level & more secure.
