Recent bladder prolapse issue still unresolved by Mainstream Medical System leaves me with serious incontinence, a bladder physically hanging out of my body most of the time, lots of pain, etc. It is beyond simple leakage, it is virtual downpours of urine at any given time. Finding this product has given me some semblance of sanity and comfort. I feel like my private areas are floating blissfully on a cloud. No chafing. The gell does EXACTLY what it is supposed to do: immediately traps the urine while the top layer remains dry. The gel does not become hard as a rock. Full coverage front to back. Adheres perfectly to underpants with extreme ease of removal leaving no remnants of adhesive or plastic behind. Also prevents any odors from emanating from soiled pads. Trash can doesn't even smell at all:no urine, no mustiness, no funk. When my bladder let's loose, it is like Niagar Falls, not a simple trickle, yet with that much urine, these pads hold it long enough to get me onto the commode and drop the used pad directly into my trash can next to me. The can has no lid. Still there is NO ODORS emanating from it; which means, I can wait until the bag is full of soiled, thoroughly soaked pads before I need to take the trash out to the dumpster. Very important when you can't get that far away from your toilet to even dump your trash outside. I live alone, so there is no help or salvation coming to rescue me from this situation. These Pads do a great job of protection. I like the wide adhesive strip that helps prevent bunching.

I have been ordering this brand and size for my mother for a long time. She has been very satisfied with the quality but the last couple of orders, she noticed a decrease in absorbency. She says the pads are slightly narrower and don't prevent side leaks nearly as well. Also they are a little less dense so they don't absorb as much and need to be changed twice as often. The surface of the pad does not stay as dry against the skin so not as comfortable. Overall, a downgrade in quality. The "6" absorbency rating now feels more like a 5.
