Once I found out the history of Italian dough-stamps I knew one would make the perfect unique gift for my partner! Delighted to find a traditional maker on Amazon, this is a lovely handcrafted piece, personalized & packaged with some information about the origins of why these stamps were created. It’s smaller than we expected but a lovely handmade object, the rooster is more an abstract shape but makes a good handle for the stamp. It’s hand carved so a little rough in places, but this is to be expected and adds to the sense of it as a unique traditional object. We will need to oil it I think to keep it in perfect condition but we’re very pleased with it. We will need to try it with some baking! It was somewhat delayed in transit but Massimo was very prompt in replying and providing information so that was very helpful.
