boat winch connector
No problem. Used with 8 gage copper wire. Snapped together just fine. I have it in the bed of my pickup running to the battery. I'm using them on a boat winch.

Connector works fine. Needs better instructions.
The product seems to work fine once you figure out how to it works. Unfortunately you are on your own trying to determine how best to crimp the contacts and which direction to insert them into the connector shell. I bought an extra one in case I screwed it up, which I did. So one connector goes in the trash and the 2nd one came out working well.

A must have for trolling motors!
I have bought several sets of these and they are a must have. They make life so much easier. I have put these connectors on all of my trolling motors and will be installing one on my PowerDrive once the warranty has expired. I would recommend soldering your wires into the connectors. Crimping works too but I would be concerned of them coming out one day. The covers that come with them is an added bonus so you can keep them protected when not in use. Simply put, if you want to make your life easier then pick these out. On a side note these fit perfectly with another brand I purchased, but they were also Red in color so becareful if you thing you are going to pair these with a gray set. There is no way to tell if they will work.

Connecting wires can be a process
Kind of a pain to attach wire to connector, but good product overall, have purchased several for winches etc and bought more at least three times

No longer a great product - Do not buy
No longer a great product. I have purchased this a number of times over the years and was pleased. The produce looks almost exactly the same, but it is not. The older connectors work great and make reliable connection. The newer connectors are assembled the same way, but they do not make a reliable connection. Sad to see a great product now useless :(
