I'm a germaphobe, so I was glad to discover something like this existed. I previously used sanitizing wipes for my phone, but I was not a fan of the residue on the screen. This is a safe, reusable alternative. Easy to use, great charging feature. It's a bit heavier than I thought. No noise, but it lights up while cleaning. Fits other small objects, so I use this on my keys and wallet as well.

No more disinfectant wipes. Now I can disinfect my phone and cards with this device easily without messing with wet wipes.

Easy to use

Assuming that this is actually outputting UVC light, the design seems great. The lamps are situated such that the light will bounce around inside which ensures that light is getting all around the phone. The real issue is that there isn't a power button or any way to turn it off. So when you take the phone out of it after it's done sanitizing, when you close the lid, it goes thru another cycle. Ultimately, it's not a problem, but it seems that it's a waste of the UV lamp to be unnecessarily running when the unit is empty. Otherwise, we assume it's doing what it's advertised to do.

Product worked perfectly in the beginning. After light use and careful handling, the unit would not power on every time when the lid was closed. I would have to lift and close the lid (sometimes multiple times) to get the light to turn on. As time went by, this became more frequent. Later, I would have to actually slam the lid close (which I never did before) to get the unit to turn the light on. Just before the end of the return period, all the above needed to be done every time. Back to Amazon for my refund. It's unfortunate, as I liked the product. However, they need to fix this issue as others have stated they had the same issue. Additionally, there really should also be a separate power switch since after cleaning your phone, removing it, and closing the cover would result in an extra 10 minute light session without anything in the unit. Waste of electricity and lowers the lifetime of the bulb. Edit: The company sent me a replacement unit that I have used long term before posting this edit. There is no longer an issue with the light being turned on when you close the lid. Very happy with this product and have changed my ratings to five stars. The company stands behind the product and made things right with me. Buy with confidence.

Love this product would recommend to everyone

I bought 2 of these, one for me and the other for a gift. I really like the reason for this product. How many of you have kids who take their phones with them everywhere, bathrooms included? We set our phones down on public tables everywhere, in our messy purse, in our pockets. What all these things have in common are potential places for germs. I work in a hospital and we get special training about the spreading of germs. Seriously, these days, germs are bad news and PhoneSoap3 eliminates my worries about them! It is easy, safe, quick, can be used to sanitize other things (my eyeglasses) and even charges my phone! It sanitizes itself after I remove my phone, so it is always clean. I'm an honest user of the PhoneSoap3 and it will be a great gift!

PhoneSoap 3 was a Father's Day gift for my son. He was thrilled to receive what he called a "unique and useful" gift. The unit is very attractive and easy to use. The size accommodates not just the cell phone but the cover as well. It's only a 10 minute process. No watching the clock as it shuts off precisely at the 10 minute mark. He used it immediately on my cell as well as his wife's. Also will be used for his children. One of the nice features is that you can charge your phone during the cleaning process. I saw this advertised on a Shark rerun after which I checked out the website. Since Amazon is my go-to way to shop, I ordered PhoneSoap 3 from them. I will be purchasing a unit for myself and other members of my family as gifts. A great product!

It does exactly as described, charging the phone while inside works fine, the only thing I have a concern on is when closing & opening. It's a very hard closing if you lose grip of the cover, which I fear might blow the bulb in the lid. The lid is very smooth & sometime I find it hard to grip to open especially. It's a very well built unit.

Yes...this thing works as advertised. I was sceptical at first, so I decided to make my own agar plates and swabbed before and after, and I had the result after a few days and it clearly shows that this thing works.

Le doy sólo 3 estrellas porque pensar que desinfecta el teléfono es una cuestión de fe ¿cómo se puede saber si lo está desinfectando o el aparato viene estropeado???? cómo saber si lo está desinfectando o es un timo??? Pues es una cuestión de fe... Espero haber invertido bien el dinero y que sea verdad y que el aparato esté en buenas condiciones. Sólo puedo constatar de que la luz azul se enciende al cerrar la caja.

Je l’utilise tout les jours. Il suffit de placer son téléphone à l’intérieur et de le refermer pour voir la petite lumière extérieur s’allumer. Petit point négatif, pour le prix je trouve que ça fait un peu léger niveau qualité, et le produit ne fonctionne parfois pas du tout il faut débrancher puis rebrancher la prise.
