I got this bamboo hair brush specifically for the no handle. I use it every night to gently massage my scalp. Using it every night helps me keep my hair and scalp healthy. I have migraines and my scalp is always sensitive but, moving it in a gentle motion doesn’t hurt me. It is very easy to clean and I have long hair and I have no issues with my hair getting tangled up in the bristles. I love that brush. I just pick it up and use it. I have one in my bedroom and one in the living room, and I love it. When I have the brush with the handle, my hand always goes to the head anyways, so I'm glad I have just the head. I don't have to worry about the handle. I might buy another one just to keep in my purse or at work. I haven't decided yet.

It's cute and durable but don't get it wet in the shower like I did. If you do, give it some mineral oil after or it'll dry out. Wood is like that, kind of treat it like a cutting board. Best as a purse brush for smoothing or massaging but not really a detangler for wavy/curly hair.
