I was initially sceptical about how well this would work, simply because of the low price. But in all honesty I am very pleased. Yes it may not be the best on the market, but so far it has functioned really well and done all I expected from a code reader. It collates error codes which can then be looked up on the internet. And very easy to navigate. The dark screen function is great for clarity of reading imo. So my opinion is that if you’re after an inexpensive code reader simply for that purpose, then it will serve you well

Great value for money, would recommend. Cleared my fault code, confirmed to me an issue with the car and will definitely use in the future. There's more high tech OBD scanners out there but this does the basics really well.

This is good quality and provides lots of information about the car ( A 2012 1.7 litre Diesel Vauxhall Astra). I bought this because I was getting a message to service the car soon, even though it had been serviced recently. Vauxhall wanted a lot of money to just read the code! I bought this and it told me there were no codes stored. I took it to my local garage and they diagnosed it as a Glow Plug issue from the code they got. I don't know if this could not read the code because it is specific to Vauxhall or not. I'm assuming that if I had the engine management light lit on the dashboard then maybe it could have read the code. I returned this and got a refund.

this is a life saver. Our ford gave a suspension error after a battery change. there is nothing wrong with the suspension, its just a error that pops up. Ford engineering fault. This cleared it.

My dad told me to get it because he’s not here to help me. My engine light came on for the first time ever and I was panicking. I bought this to see how soon I needed to take it to the garage. This code reader was super easy to figure out and the instructions that came with it made it really clear where the information was in the device. Turns out it was something I could fix myself and I didn’t need to waste money going to a garage! Very happy with this purchase, and it’s not even expensive at all.

just bought one of these after looking at reviews for scanners in this price bracket, Used on a VW polo with engine light on, but didnt pick up any faults or codes. Had to go to a workshop and their equipment picked up faults straight away. Havnt tried it on anything else yet but a little disappointing so far.
