Great for using to bung feed and expansion tank pipes, enabling me to create a vacuum in heating system long enough to change a couple of radiator valves without too much water escaping and avoiding need to drain entire system. These bungs fit nice and snugly, so helped with the job… but you still have to be quick and know what you are doing to avoid a flood! A little bit pricey for two bits of moulded synthetic rubber.

Spot on. did the trick. Fit perfect. Another trick I've learned. Prob never have to use them again but well worth the money.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these, purchased them to isolate my F&E tank so I could replace a seized 3 port valve without having to drain my hot water cylinder down, worked a treat and held while I did the job, these will last for years and would stand up to frequent professional use

Handy item, time saver, to change radiator or valves, no need to drain down full system,just rad your working at.

Expensive? Yes, but have to remember someone spent a great deal of time designed these for a very specific job/market. So need to recoup their design, tooling, materiel and manufacturing costs. Are they any good? Yes, really good, have stuck these in many a hole and vent pipe, and they’ll held up surprisingly well. Could you make do with something homemade/cheaper? Yes, but why bother, unless your tight for cash and space in your tool bag. So if you’re likely myself and like buying tools/gadgets for a very specific job, that you could easily make do with other bits and bobs, then these are definitely for you. Oh suggest you do the vent pipe first, as one has a female15mm hole and the other 22mm. Nothing worse than having to swap over after you used the ‘wrong’ one in the f&e tank first. Only make that mistake once or twice in my case.
