Speedy Healing in Comfort โ A Real Game-Changer
I bought these Niceful 4x4 Silicone Foam Dressings to help heal a stubborn ulcer on my leg, and they have been fantastic โ comparable to the expensive ones my clinic used, but much more affordable in this 5-pack. Each dressing is individually wrapped and sterile. The size (4โx4โ total with about a 2.5โx2.5โ padded area) is great for medium wounds or surgical incisions. In my case, it fully covered the wound with some border to spare. Applying them is very straightforward. You just peel off the backing from the adhesive border and place it over the cleaned wound. The silicone adhesive is a game changer โ it sticks well to the surrounding skin but not to the wound itself, and it doesnโt hurt when you remove it. Iโve had bandages before that ripped off skin or left me red and raw around the wound, but not these. I even accidentally placed one a bit off-center and had to reposition it; it lifted gently and I could re-stick it without losing adhesive power. Once on, it stays put. I wore one on my calf for two days straight; during that time I showered (kept direct water spray off it, but it got a bit wet) and it still held on and kept everything underneath dry. No edges curling up either โ the adhesive border is a nice width and really adheres flat. The foam pad is thick and very absorbent. It managed the slight drainage from my wound wonderfully, wicking it away and locking it in so the wound wasnโt sitting in fluid. Also, it provides a cushion which protected the area from bumping and added comfort. I noticed that after using these, the wound bed looked healthier โ the foam creates a moist healing environment which I know is ideal for wound healing. My wound, which had been slow to progress with regular gauze, actually started to heal faster once I switched to these dressings. There was less scabbing and more new skin forming, likely because the wound wasnโt drying out or getting traumatized with frequent dressing changes. I changed the dressing every 2 days, and each time removal was painless and the pad never stuck to the wound (no more yanking off scabs โ hooray). Overall, Iโm extremely satisfied with Nicefulโs foam dressings. Theyโre as good as hospital-grade ones Iโve used, and I got 5 of them for a very reasonable price. I feel much more confident now doing wound care at home. I have a couple left for future use, and I will absolutely re-order if I need more. Five stars for making wound care easy and comfortable, and helping my wound heal much faster.

Best bandage for the price.
Works better than I expected. Iam truly impressed. It stays in place until I remove it, yet doesn't rip the skin when removing.

Military Care Package Approved by RNs!
I am an RN who is purchasing these (NOT for the first time!) again for a care package being created for deployed military. These are one of a few products we choose to send to these men and women that are known to be top-notch! I know from personal experience that the adhesive on these stay put for days, and the silicone outer portion ensures moisture neither penetrates and leaks into a wound, nor leaks out! The importance of an occlusive bandage that tightly seals moisture in and air/dryness out is crucial - and the BEST way to heal wounds properly! Our military often find themselves in situations for which they need first aid items that are reliable, high quality, easy-to-transport, and easy to apply, and these dressings fit all of these requirements.

easy on skin and water resistant
This has been the best product for wound care for a small skin surgery. It is not 100% waterproof; the edges will lift up after it's been on for several hours but I have tried several different bandages and some of them actually took my skin off when we removed them, which we have to do daily. I swim, so this is a good option and is gentle to skin. The name is ridiculous: "Niceful" We laughed over that, and it's made in China, but it really works well so we're "sticking" with it.

Best ever for non stick bandages
Dermatologist removed a mole from my leg, left quite the wound. I was concerned about the regimen of removing/cleaning/replacing the bandage every day, and tearing the wound back open. But these were different; the foam silicon absorbed the discharge, but didnt stick at all. The adhesive surrounding the foam was patterned in a way that it stuck until i wanted to remove it, then it came off easily. i didnt think that combination was possible, but day after day the same thing. These bandages are the BEST EVER.

Best Purchase!
These are THE best bandages ever! I get multiple skin cancer removals every few months which has made my skin extremely sensitive to regular bandaids or latex adhesive. These are so gentle on the skin, but yet do not stick or pull at the wound. And they stay one.

Stay on and stay sealed
I used to cover orthopedic surgery incisions that were about 4" long. Worked great - kept them dry & clean and didn't hurt when it was time to remove.

Good for knee replacement. Flexible and absorbent.
These bandages were appropriate for use after knee replacement surgery, and proved to be quite useful and effective. They are wide and long enough, and the adhesive is not so harsh as to aggravate my skin. In a humid environment (like getting a pedicure with my feet in a warm water bath), the adhesive came loose, but quickly re-stuck when I pressed it back down. The foam in the middle was thicker than expected, and should absorb more than standard bandages. And the bandage was flexible enough to bend my knee and do my exercises. Would definitely buy these again if needed.
