Redwood BB-UB115 16kg Round Granite Parasol Base

The parasol base is a nice addition to my garden. It is very sturdy, and heavy. It is easy to move as there are finger holds on the underside of the base. The pole support is quite wide. Our parasol pole is only about 1 inch / 25 mm so I put in a length of foam pipe- insulation which keeps it nice and secure. The base arrived well ahead of estimated delivery date. The seller kept me informed about my order. The marble base is just what I have been looking for, and I am very pleased with it.

This is a very fine and stable base for a parasol. A nice heavy piece of granite, which is excellent value for money. To make, polish and deliver such a heavy piece of rock for the price is amazing.

Used this a few times during PDQs in the summer, it is sturdy and looks nice. Was thinking for that price it would be some plastic thing painted and coated to look like granite but pretty sure it's real and it weighs a lot as it needs to. I have added a picture and marked it down to 4* though for this bad looking bit on the side where maybe someone has chippd it and filled it or something, it looks awful. I have to make sure I put that bit against the wall so people don't see it. Ruined an other wise perfect 5* product.

Strong winds the past few days and the parasol stand has stood strong. It's a lovely looking base and also not too big which is why I bought it. It is very heavy compared with other bases, even bigger ones so an excellent base. But I have a standard parasol and it was very loose in the holder despite screwing the retainer screws to full capacity. So that is my one criticism. I solved the problem by squashing in some dense foam to wedge the parasol stick in securely. I think the manufacturers should redesign this base so as to ensure that the parasol retainer screws can be screwed in further.

VERY STURDY LOVELY COLOUR

This parasol base is really lovely, and, a little unusual, there is nothing on this great base to rust,so should last a few rust free years, it is heavy and stable, which is what you want when the wind blows. It has a handsome look to it, and I have had many positive remarks from friends and family. I will definitely buy another, and would recommend this seller and product. Go on, you know you want to!!!

This is a good looking parasol base. The twin bolts on the stainless steel tube keeps my parasol vertical, as opposed to some tubes with single bolts. I highly recommend this product and the Company are excellent to deal with.
