Looks like the TV is turned on
Excellent, it really makes the room look like the TV is on,making it look like there's someone in the house. It turns on when it starts getting dark and it has a timer for 2, 4 or 6 hours.

Not very bright in a large room
Definitely no mains adapter as stated in item description. Works as described but not as bright as I expected. I may still use it in another room when I an out, but think that a light and/or radio operating on simple timers are probably more effective. I don't know of anyone who watches TV in a completely dark room. Also, may show through gaps at the top of curtains, but hardly visible through vertical blinds. Standard USB, type A I believe.

A good dterrent for would be burglars,
Works well pointed up to the ceiling at just over 45 degree angle at one end of the room on my desk and looks from outside as if the tv was also at the other end of the room and my room is 30ft long, so very happy with it. I would say it is a very good dterrent for burglars, touch wood :)

Very good simulation of TV use
Very good simulation of TV use. I didn't use the 'dusk on' settings as I positioned the unit in a bright area, but instead set it to 'on' and used with a timer.

Product Description Wrong
Smaller than I expected but seems to perform ok. The product description says 110-240v adaptor. is included but it’s not. All that comes with it is a USB A lead. You need a plug adaptor to power it. It says elsewhere it is battery powered, which is wrong. Over priced for what it is.

Very realistic, a good deterrent.
Excellent item. Compact so doesn't take up a lot of space. The time settings are good, it comes on at dusk and can be set for 2, 4 or 6 hours, can also be turned on and off manually. Looks very realistic from outside, even though closed vertical blinds. Can be tilted for the best positioning. A must have item for any empty home to deter burglars, attempted break-ins and vandalism. Wire is a USB so you will need a three pin adaptor if plugging into the mains. Good price at £22.

Small but mighty
Looks like the tv is on from outside, I angle mine towards the window so it’s easier to see it flashing, resembles real tv light. Just plug it in- usb. Small in size
