Performs as advertised and I highly recommend
I highly recommend this sled. The angled front end makes for smoother running over divots and depressions, "particularly during sprints". The outer metal of the sled is tubular but it is thick and sturdy as are the metal rope loops, I expect this sled to last well over 20 years. I have standard 2-inch Olympic plates and they fit on the plate holder. If your plate holes are smaller than standard they will not fit. I should mention, the only reason I choose this sled is because of the angled front end. I sometimes run on trails in the woods where I encounter raised tree roots. But, if you plan to train exclusively on a level football or soccer field, save some money and buy some of the other sleds, many of which are similarly built. So, the only negative I have is that the body harness is super large. I am 5'8", 150 pounds and the shoulder straps are so loose that they frequently fall of my shoulders. I had to use a small rope to tie the straps together in the center of my chest, that did the trick but I found that simply relying on the adjustable waist belt part of harness worked just as well. Otherwise, the harness is made of nice, fairly thick material, I expect it to last at least five years but more likely ten years or so based on frequency of use. I considered giving 4 stars because the shoulder straps on the body harness are so large but I just really like the sled, so that into consideration if the comfort of the body harness is important to you. If you are tall and/or large the large straps will be a benefit. I should mention, if you have never used a sled before note that no sled has a super smooth slide, instead, the motion will be jerky, particularly when you are performing sprints. However, the longer the rope the smoother the run. The rope that comes with the sled is a standard length (approx. 5 feet) but I recommend buying a 10 to 15 foot rope and tie it to the rope that comes with the sled, trust me it will "greatly reduce" sled jerking and make your exercise more enjoyable. Happy training! I hope this writeup is helpful, the corporations stick together and some falsely advertise so, we need to stick together and include short written reviews on products to offset any misleading information.

FLAT TERRAIN REQUIRED FOR PUSHING
This is a great sled. However, you must use this on a completely FLAT surface. It wonโt push forward on a bumpy or uneven grassy terrain, so just be warned if you think this will work in an average backyard.

Best for price
This is the best you are going to find at this price point, actually equal to some priced much higher. Solid, compact, well designed; quickly put together with 9 bolts. Yes, the harness is poorly designed, but I let it slide because I'm happy with the sled. Answering some of the complaints I read in other reviews. You want all steel for a serious piece of heavy duty equipment not a child's toy made of plastic. If it's too light to push, put some weight on it. If you plan to push this through the neighborhood, on concrete, or gravel; it's going to be loud. You can always spend $800-900 for the one with wheels, or do what I did. I spent $100 at Lowe's for some artificial grass and made a runway in my backyard.

Great for the price
This little guy is great. It can hold roughly 6 2inch bumper plates. I wasn't sure if it would be good for pushing but the low angle feels pretty good and easy to push. Might be hard if your not flexible andor lack balance. Either way works great for me. Using this to boost my knee rehab and strength build my lower body.

GREAT FOR MY XL BULLY PROTECTIVE TRAINING
This weight sled is AMAZING!!! I have a XL BULLY 18 months old and weighs 105lbs we use this weekly to have him pull weights while I skateboard. Itโs everything I looked for and more. Itโs built strong as hell but I added 3d printed skis on bottom so asphalt wouldnโt wear through metal arms. Will buy another one when I need.

Good Product, Just a Few Issues!!!
Overall the sled itself is great. I bought it in May and have only used it twice, and both times I had to cut my workout short due to a manufacture issues. The first was the screws that came with it snapped off while running and the middle pole went flying. That wasnโt that bad I just went to Home Depot and got better screws md washers to hold it in place. The second just happened and is the pictures attached. On my third sprint the belt buckle snapped and broke. This I canโt just fix so trying to find a new buckle or strap. Other than that, the sled itself is great. Both workouts have been with 2 45lb plates on stadium turf. It def gets the job done! 3/5 stars only because Iโve yet to be able to finish a workout with it!

love it
love it. look, if youre a strong man this is probably not a sturdy enough sled for you, but this sled seems like it will most definitely outlast your average person. i dont really push it on asphalt because its too easy, i prefer grass and it moves very well along grass as long as its relatively flat. 5/5 for the price and durability. like i said, probably not meant for a strongman, but im relatively athletic 200lb male and i am happy with it.

Buena calidad PERO el arnes ...
La calidad del material es muy buena PERO el arnes que dan es unicamente de arrastre frontal , no inverso , una pena que tenga que comprar otro a parte. Tenganlo en cuenta.
