Must have for floating trem systems!
High quality strings with a long life and stellar tone. Have been a Slinky guy the whole 25 years of playing. Recently purchased a Double locking trem system, and didn't want strings that go dull after a few practices since setting up a floating bridge is fairly time consuming.These strings go a long long way. Only change them when one breaks. Even a new string when an older set matches tone once broken in, which only takes about a week so you don't need to change the whole every time a string breaks. More money up front saves you a bunch of money down the road with Elixirs. And the tone and feel is top notch! If you have a floating trem system I highly recommend using Elixir!

Elixer Strings Outlast the Competition
Been an avid user of these (3) sets in a box for years. Longest lasting string on the market (for those less fortunate) the price point may be harder to swallow, but worth the savings in the end.

Great strings
I have a couple dozen electric guitars that I play regularly (and more that get played less often). Elixir strings sound great and stay that way much longer than most other strings. If it weren't for Elixirs, I'd spend more time changing strings than rehearsing. I highly recommend them.

Best Strings on the Market, IMHO
I love these strings. I have an acidic body PH which can be really corrosive on regular guitar strings as well as the guitar hardware. I've struggled all my life with the issue trying every trick in the book to try to keep the strings from corroding and rusting. A few years ago I started using Elixir strings on my acoustic guitars, because we all know that acoustic strings start to loose their tone within days of being installed, and I have been very happy with the extended life span. I just recently started using them on my electrics and have found them to be equally long life. I have figured that even given the increase in price the long life and good tone make using them cost effective also being that I don't have to change strings anywhere near as often. If you have not tried Elixirs give a pair a spin, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Qualité prix bonne performence, ne resent pas le glissement des doigts sur les cordes lors de changement d'accord. Moins grosse que les 10 ceux -ci se bande très bien tout en prenant le bonne endroit rapidementSur les trois cordes du bas on une sonorité. Tres fuide et cristaline. Longivité pas encore éprouvée.
