Great well made mug. Please note that it is on the large size but it is definitely something I don’t mind. It has a large round base that would prevent the mug from tipping over. I like it so much bot only do I use it for my coffee but also to drink iced water and soda with ice. Another thing I like about my mug is that it’s double insulated so no sweating and keeps the drinks hot or cold for extended periods of time. I liked my mug so much I ordered a second one.

I am quite choosy with my purchases and have to really like them to keep them. I have had satisfaction with other Stanley products in the past. I just received this mug about 3 days ago and have to say I think this is something I will keep as I like it right from the start. I ordered the white,,it is a smooth finish with a grippy type black rubber bottom. The handle fits my hand (somewhat fat fingers) and is comfortable to hold. The 20oz size is perfect for a large + serving of coffee,,it stays hot even with the lid open for hours. The lid closes tight and does not leak. The lid itself closes and opens "hard" like others have stated, but then again it wont spill open unexpectedly if locked in the closed position. You have to get used to where to "start" screwing the lid down to line up to where the spout is comfortable and balanced for drinking, but once you get the general idea it becomes easy. The actual cover and size of spout where your lips touch is comfortable and not too big or small for liquid flow. Best part of all is that the mug is very "flat" and not tippy. I like to do paperwork on my bed first thing in the morning when I am fresh and this mug can sit on the bed or on a book or a folder or whatever and does not tip over. This will not fit in any cup holder in a car but could work on the passenger seat with the grippy bottom. Take away claim to fame: will not easily tip over and comfortable to hold. Likely keeping after two more weeks of testing use. I was not paid in any way to write this review and personally paid for this item in full.

I like that this has a wide base so it stays steady. I set it on the little platform between my front seats on my minivan since it obviously is too big for a cup holder. Thankfully it doesn't need one! One of the screws fastening the handle to the actual mug feels like there is some slight play in it. I assumed I'd be able to tighten it, but don't have the right tool. I need a small, 6-sided star bit with a circular circular cut out because Stanley used an uncommon type of screw. Keep my coffee hot for as long as I need it to.

Stanley has done it again!!! I have tried to tip this cup over or find a leak. If lid is placed properly it hold. And definitely keeps tea warm for hours

Stays stable in bed or on other soft surfaces, and the screw top is nice and wide for ice cubes. The top also aligns when closed into good drinking positions, with no awkwardness of movement. The handle is reasonably comfortable and aligns naturally in hand to hold upright and not tipped. It also fits large hands well. I was hoping the insulation was a little better, but it still keeps ice water cold for long enough to enjoy after a nap.

I needed my admiral mug for interim living in small space with pets, while waiting on home sale. Tired of cleaning up spilled glasses (not always the pets). Well pleased but for one design issue. One’s nose, you must make sure not to cover the vent so water can flow out. Needs to be further over to other side? Keeps water cold very well. I’d have wished for 24 ounces, as I’m using for water but probably perfect for coffee. Sturdy, attractive, well made NO SPILLS!

Awesome, perfect size, and dose not tip over or spill. Very pleased with the color coating.

Keeps hot beverages hot for hours. Travels well in the car even though it doesn't sit inside the cup holder, it's so bottom-heavy and sturdy. The lid is ambidextrous depending on how you screw it on the drinking spout can face either direction for left- or right-handed sippers.

I have been using it everyday for my chinese tea habit. Great mug, ample size for whole day sipping, and just deep-scrubbing the interior with 3M stainless-steel sponge once in a while to keep it bright and shiny. Love this mug!

Keeps cold drinks cold for hours and hot drinks hot for up to an hour and warm for 2 or 3 hours. I have these in many colours but this cream one just looks classy! Holds a decent quantity too at almost 600 mls. I quite often put my can of coke in there. It's comfortable to drink that way and the Admiral keeps the drink nice and cold.
