Just what I needed to stop the lift door opening by itself!
I hoped it would just be an easy fitting and it was. No need to use the parts supplied to go onto the loft door as the catch worked perfectly with the existing part.

Does what it says.
I got the loft door latch on the same day and replaced the new old one. It was a easy set up. The quality of the latch is rather stirdy a d it fit(s) perfectly on the door.

No use for loft hatch
May be ok for a cupboard, does not work on loft hatch at all, the hatch just opens due to gravity, catch doesn't work to keep it shut at all. It doesn't seem a very good design unfortunately.
