I wand to dye furniture tassels by hand ,not in a machine ....would it be possible with this dye?

It depends on the material of the tassels. If they are polyester fibre then probably not. Maybe Rit DyeMore for polyester would work.

Does it dye fake fur?

Probably not! Nothing would dye faux fur, except possibly an industrial dye. Sorry
