I moved into a new apartment that had an awful shower head and I definitely wanted a better one. I had previously purchased a Delta matte black one that cost more than this, and soon as I got it and installed it it was leaking, so unfortunately I had to send it back and the maintenance guy put in at least a new shower head that was a stationary one in the meantime. I just got this one and used it for the first time tonight and I enjoyed every minute of it! The shower head itself is pretty wide so it has great coverage. It has a lot of great settings my favorite being probably the second and third from the center if you're turning it to the left when you're facing it. It's like the regular rain shower with a little middle massage and then like the full power massage. I have pretty thick hair so I use the higher power massage one to make sure I get all the soap and product out so my hair doesn't feel weird after I get out of the shower. Let's talk about the house for a second though! I pulled the tubing out to connect to the hose and I was amazed at how light and flexy it was. On some older units I've had in the past and especially the Delta that I just returned the hose was so stiff and inflexible, once it was bent into a specific shape from the box it didn't really remote very well it probably would have taken some time and it would push against the shower wall and stick out awkwardly. This one is very light and super flexy and it feels kind of cool. The hose is also long enough for me to sit down on basically what is just a small foot stool. It's easier on my back and now that I have a long hose I can actually sit down on the little stool in the shower and extend my legs out all the way so I can have a more relaxing sit down where I can scrub everything and use the handheld. I'm so glad I decided to go with this one. It has a filter built into the handle as well. I've never used one with a filter because back where I lived previously in my city I didn't need it but I moved 30 minutes away to another city and the water is not as good here when I noticed my hair felt strange after a shower even using the same products I had been using a month prior before I moved so I thought maybe it's the water and decided to try a filter and so far out of the shower it feels good. It pretty much literally did take me only a minute to install. The other shower head was recently installed two or three weeks ago so the pipe was already rethreaded with the tape and all I had to do was just unscrew the old shower head screw on the little Mount portion and then put the hose on either end of it and turn it on and no leaks. I finally had my first stress relaxing shower in my new place I highly recommend the shower head. It has 10 different settings so there's here's a setting to suit everyone in your home.

Received black matte showerhead with very clear instructions and all items necessary to install. The settings are fantastic and I did notice a difference in my hair after using with the filters. I was quite pleased especially considering the low price. It was better than the expensive Kohler I had before. Many months later, the hose split. I called customer service who very graciously stood behind their product and replaced it. I must say I was quite relieved because I really like this shower head!

Follow directions. Easily remove existing flow restrictor. Excellent water pressure for thorough and quick soap/shampoo removal. Much more cost effective and ecologically sound because the increase in water flow allows a much quicker/effective shower than waiting for restricted flow ineffective water pressure which does not “save water” after all.

The shower head is great very powerful especially if you take the water restrictor out of the end of the shower head handle. The problem is that the shower head doesn't fit in the holder very well and you have to shove it in there and then it sticks. Also the shower head is too heavy for the holder so it droops down as soon as you put it in the holder which in my case I have a one-person stand up shower so the shower head droops down right over the top of me and leaks all over me while I'm trying to dry off. Oh yeah that's another thing The shower head constantly leaks after you turn the water off. I give it a four star rating tentatively just because the water pressure is so great. But the rest definitely could be better.

I've owned a 105 room boutique hotel and 40 homes (most of which were Airbnbs). I paid for this item, did not get anything for writing this review either. Pros! What makes it great: * Number one reason for me: BUBBLE BATHS. I'm a dude who just loves to zone out in bubbles. The shower clean functions of this make absolutely incredible bubble baths without having a jetted tub. The "forward power stream" function makes more bubbles the forward and the "forward power spray" function makes a rich and silky lather. * Water pressure - even with the 1.8gpm flow restrictor installed - is awesome. * The misting and fog functions are as close to a $400 steam shower head as you'll get at this price. * The "tub cleaning" functions are insanely strong... So strong it'll clean tile grout. * I think we all think that the forward spray and mist are actually "bidet" settings, and if you didn't now you have. Yes, I bet this is really what it was intended as, and good for them because you should clean your insides out too... But just watch the temperature and pressure very carefully. I have a bidet so I don't need this function. * Filters - skin seems less itchy, can't speak much to this as I have great water where I live. * Nozzles: they're rubberized, so you can "rub the nubs" if hard water deposits make them spray in different directions. * Hose is actually more like 7 feet long -perfect for dog baths. Suggestions for manufacturer: * GPM display - I'd love to see GPM to know the flow, with total gallons per shower, and per week or month. * Could they have a little screw in thing that you put salt in to have a mini water softener? * Order of settings... The forward spray should be after the shutoff water saver setting cuz often you're clicking around and shoot water everywhere. * I'd love to have a timed / gallon setting for auto shutoff to save water. * I'd love an auto shutoff at temp setting. As soon as the water starts to get warm shut off the water. * I challenge the manufacturer to make the first full featured 1 GPM showerhead * A magnetic holder would be great with another wall stick one for the bubble bath setting. * Make one of the settings "bubble bath" that sprays down with 2-4 strong streams that make the best bubble baths ever... Maybe wide enough you call the setting "Jacuzzi tub" so we can sit in the tub and have the jets go into the water by our back and legs. Thanks!

So unfortunately the first one I received appeared opened and resealed. When I opened it, there was no filter in the shower head (and I definitely ordered the one that comes with the filter). I think someone dishonest may have stolen the filter from the shower head and returned it. Please stop doing this. Just purchase the filters. They are available for sale now in their store! I ended up ordering a replacement because of that reason and it arrived quickly. Yes, the unit is plastic, but it is well-made. I bought the matte black one so I think it being made of a solid plastic makes it more durable. Because I'd imagine the matte black coating on a metal piece may nick and chip off if I were to accidentally drop the shower head, for example. It being made of plastic also has the upside of it being lightweight for people who don't have strong hands like myself so that in itself decreases the chance of dropping it. It was super easy to install. I had no problems at all. I didn't have to use the tape because my old installation already had it. The spray functions are where this unit absolutely shines. It has the pause function (which some name brands shockingly don't have). It also has two powerful water jet functions on the top edge of the shower head that I've never seen before! This is SUPER helpful for cleaning things and cleaning the shower. This feature is so amazing that I may never buy another one without it again! Overall, so far so good! I'm looking forward to seeing how the filter helps with skin and hair!

Awesome after a couple months of use, the cleaning modes are very satisfactory, but sprayed my wall a couple times on accident.

Overall, I like this shower system. My interest in buying was the mist function. I have good pressure so the mist works pretty good. Now, I included a few pictures and a video. Picture 1: Shows the unit as installed. The install was super easy. The pieces thread together without effort. That's a plus. The ball joint is sturdy with only hand-tightening required, but for extra measure, I used a pipe wrench for an additional one eighth turn. The big object behind the showerhead is my own filter that I decided to keep, so now I have two working together. Picture 2: Shows an existing flow-control valve (not a shutoff valve) that I kept as well; It allows me to control the water flow at any setting on the showerhead – very handy. The pause function works really well on this unit and I may use it from time to time, but with my flow control value, I achieve the control I need. Picture 3: shows the flexible hose. It truly is flexible, not stiff like the one I replaced. That’s a plus. The video shows the various spray settings. Going from one setting to the next is super easy and can be done with one hand. It may look a bit clumsy because I'm making the changes from outside the shower. The first setting shown in the video is the pause setting, which shows only drips coming from the showerhead. In other words, it effectively stops water flow. I’m not a fan of that mainly because pressure builds up behind the unit, and then it surges when turned back on. The good thing is the water flow can be adjusted merely by not turning pause as far as it will go. That’s a plus. The last setting shows water shooting from a nozzle on top of the showerhead. I’m using my flow-control valve to dial back the pressure a bit. But of course it can also be lessened using the same knob(s) for turning on the water. I have seen this advertised as useful for pressure cleaning the shower. I guess that would work, but I find at least 3 of the other settings that do a pretty good job of cleaning the shower. Since it’s the last setting, that makes it easier not to engage the darn thing unexpectedly, because as can be see in the video, it really juts out. If you need a pressure wash, it’s a good thing to have. Leave it to my mind, I quickly found another use for it -- cleans and soothes at the same time! Do I need to say more? Lastly the video is recorded with the flow restrictor out. Installed, I was not getting the pressure I like. So overall I like this unit. As far as durability, it seems like it will hold up, but only time will tell.
