I bought this brush specifically to stain our deck, and it worked great. The bristles are really soft but still hold a good amount of stain, which made it easy to get nice, even coverage. The large size was especially helpful for covering the deck boards without constantly having to reload the brush. It made the job much easier and worked exactly as I hoped. Definitely a 5-star purchase!

This tool saved my back applying clear sealer to my 1200 ft cedar deck. It's big and very well made. The bristles are soft and dense. Very pleased with the price too. Screws into a standard pole and is just the right angle for spreading stain to a deck.

Worked very well with linseed oil, didn't soak up a whole lot and left a really nice finish. Cleaned up easily too and very handy with the threaded rod receptacle attached. Should last a long, long time.

Looked better than rolling the stain. Faster than brushing it with a small brush. Would definitely buy again. It did lose a few bristles so that's why it isn't 5 stars.

I was hesitant to use this brush since I was a beginner, but it worked great and made the job so much easier. It reduced the workload, saved my back and knees, and helped me finish my deck much faster. Our deck turned out beautiful, and I would definitely recommend this product.

I bought this to stain my deck. It worked better than I ever would have thought. Holds a good quantity of stain and spreads very nice and easy. I almost bought an extra one afterwards to make sure if they ever ran out I would still have one.

Awesome brush that saves a ton of time.

The many hours I've previously spent treating my deck, kneeling and slowly painting by hand...and then I found this brush!! It's not an exaggeration to say it made the job at least twice as fast if not 3 or 4x quicker. It coats very evenly, holds a lot of oil so you can do plenty of passes without reloading. Fits to a standard extension pole thread. A little bit of bristle loss but to be fair this was mostly due to it catching on a few splinters. If you're using oil just make sure you've got a lot of white spirit handy to wash it afterwards otherwise your 20quid brush will be ruined. I stored it for a day or so between coats in a plastic ziplock bag so i didnt have to wash it each time. Really recommend this brush for making the job of treating your deck a little less mind numbing and whole lot faster!

This is the best applicator on the market and doesn’t break the bank to buy! I am so impressed with this deck stain applicator I am telling everyone about it! It’s a brush a very thick brush still able to flex back and forth like a paint brush. It fits on to a regular kitchen floor broom handle so you don’t have to bend over and break your back. Put your paint in a paint roller pan just enough to fill the deep end of pan. Stick the brush in the paint only about a 1/2 inch slide the brush against the upper part of paint tray to take just a little bit of the stain off. Turn the brush upright so you don’t drip paint. And turn again once you reach the area you want to stain and press down on the handle and slide the brush across the deck board length wise. Not a lot of pressure and slide back and forth like a paint brush two or three times. Here is the best part it stains the space between the boards with ease and all the cracks and knots you have in the boards! It truly does a magnificent job! And get this I cleaned the brush with paint thinner to reuse it again next time. Simply worth the money with no headaches it takes so little time to finish the deck and still be smiling! Highly recommended!

one my best Amazon purchases. I have fitted it to my extendable roller handle and completed a large decked area in no time. The thread is plastic so time will tell how long it takes to wear and get lose. Bristles are robust and didn't disintegrate. Better than using a sponge and saves your back.
