I began suffering with chronic pain following an accident I had the age of 16. For the past 30+ years the pain has been constant and gradually increasing in intensity. I have always tried to push through the pain and not let it control my life, but the last 6+ months have been pure hell and I can’t seem to get any relief. My symptoms now also include numbness and tingling in my hands and feet, fatigue and overall weakness. I have to change positions frequently. I can only stand for about 10 minutes at a time before having to sit down because the pain gets so severe. This has made doing even simple tasks such as showering very difficult. I haven’t been able to take a tub bath for many years bc I am unable to get myself up from sitting in a tub due to the severity of the pain. I had no choice but to figure out a solution that would help make my life and showering easier and began searching for a shower chair. Unfortunately every shower chair I found was way too big to fit in my small apartment sized shower/tub. When I came across this shower stool I was afraid that it would also be too big, but I knew that I had to at least give it a try and boy am I glad I did. It fits perfectly in my shower/tub and has seriously been a game changer for me. I can now get a shower without having to rush to bathe and get out. The shower stool is lightweight, sturdy and made with excellent quality materials. The soft padded seat makes the stool more comfortable and I love that the legs are adjustable to get the perfect height to accommodate my short stature, making it easier for me to sit down on and to be able to get myself back up to standing position with ease. The stool has slip resistant tips on each leg and is made of a rust resistant material, so it will certainly last for years to come. In my opinion the price of this product is very reasonable and fair. I would highly recommend to others and would purchase again without hesitation. Needed this a few months ago after being layed up. Fit into pretty tight shower with ease. Was stable, held my weight, I am a big guy with no worries. Use it to hold laundry basked now. But it served it's purpose well.

PROS Good price, easy to assemble, and seems sturdy. This was easy to put together, and the instructions are easy to follow as they show big color pictures as well as the words. Nice big bold type that folks with bad close vision can easily read. Wings screws were easy to tighten by hand, and I don’t have a lot of strength in my arms or hands. Legs are easy to adjust. I sat on it and it seems sturdy. (I weigh 220). Will try it in my next shower. CONS I had a little trouble getting the center wing screw to go in at first so had to undo the two wing screws on the ends and move the top leg bar a little. But no big deal. Not sure how to attach the seat pad as it doesn’t mention that. Looks like there is adhesive on the back and you just peel the lining off and stick it on the plastic seat. Obvious, yes, but it would’ve been nice if they had some tips for placing it easily. We have stone tile in our shower, and suction cups never stick to it. But If you have a nice even surface in your shower, I guess the handle would work. I haven’t even bothered trying it in mine because we have tried those things before, and anything with suction, even little bitty cups, just does not stick to that stone. It would be nice if there were another way to attach that bar. But I purchased this just for the seat, not the bar. We already have a built-in large handrail in our tub.

This is a very sturdy stool. I weigh a little over 300 lbs. and the stool feels very sturdy. I had one of those wider seat stools, but I could not place it in the tub where I wanted it. This one the legs are narrow enough that I can back the stool up in the tub so I'm not right against the front wall and directly under the shower.

Shower Safely and Securely, Quick and Easy Assembly The stainless legs makes this chair pop, it looks so much better than aluminum. It is very sturdy and I feel safe on it. This seat fits perfectly and makes me so happy that I can now take a shower daily. It also came with a suction cup hand rail, when you are placing the suction bar on the wall, that the suction cups are not over a grout seam. It will lose suction quickly if that is the case and not be safe if someone were to grab it. Easy to put together - This was a easy 3 minute assembly.

The shower stool is sturdy and non slippery. I felt safe sitting on on. ( I broke my ankle and needed to sit while showering.). Was very easy to assemble a five yr old could do it. The BUT part. The handle they give you to suction to the wall. It would not suction to the tiles. Even after a good cleaning, It is very flimsey plastic with no suction power. It came off the shower wall with the first test. I continued to test a few more times and each time the handle popped off or was easily pulled off the wall.

Have been using this for a couple months now, we chose not to add the padding to the seat and it is still comfortable. The adjustable legs makes is nice for both of us to have a seat at the preferred height. When placed correctly, the feet of the chair suction to the floor of the shower providing extra stability (we don't actually usually like using this feature, but it is cool that it's an option) and the handle is as stable as any other suction handle I've ever used with easy instillation.

This fit in a smaller sized shower. Worked out well while caring for a senior parent. It was used in conjunction with a shower hose. We didn’t need the accessories that came with it. Assembly was easy.

Returned it as it was damaged. Poor quality.
