Canvas Mammoth 20F

I bought this to be used for our overlanding trip across many countries to sleep in our truck as a couple. I have pros and cons... Pros: Its big, warm and can be unzipped used as 2 blankets if you chose. you can unzip each side to air in/out, or leave the bag. The bag is very big, two adults can sleep comfortably, possible with a child in the middle but no baby... The canvas outer layer is cotton and is sturdy The zippers are large and good quality The storage bag that comes with it is good size, but have to roll the bags tight to remove any air inside so it can fit in the storage bag. Amazing customer service, very quick, very polite, very professional. A HUGE plus! Cons: The inner lining is not 100 % flannel. Its a blend and soft nevertheless. Was worried at first but after the first night sleeping out in the cold to test (5 degree Celcius, we were happy on how warm it kept us. I love this bag, its not made for backpacking unless all you carry is the bag while going thru Nepal. Side note: I went to a guy that makes comforter bags from scratch and made me one just for this. It can be used if you want to sleep indoors. Overall great bag and a very good customer service.

This thing is massive, heavy, and keep in mind it says to store it unbagged and hanging so it retains its fluff/fill. You will need a huge space to hang this thing. I haven’t actually gotten to use it yet because my fall trip got canceled (thanks, pandemic!) but this canvas covered sleeping bag will no doubt keep us very warm. This thing is thick and I’m sitting on it right now because my boyfriend is cleaning out a closet. It appears very durable as I’m checking out the lining, zippers, and straps. I would highly recommend the canvas-backed bag as I’ve read horror stories about the other ones not being able to fit back into the bag. We have been able to get this one back in the bag as the bag is roomy as well.

This is not small when packed. But I have a husky that goes with and I wanted a canvas exterior so her nails wouldn't rip it when she's walking on it and I let her sleep on it over night. It's warm. I wouldn't trust it to keep me warm at 20 without wearing sweats, but that's typical of me... I suspect that my heart goes into 1 beat per minute when I sleep and I'll live to be 250 years old. Lol. So I would not say the rating is any different than other bags. I only wish they made a much warmer one for people like me. However, when my girl is with m she keeps me toasty, so it's fine. But I woukd prefer warmer. I'm sure thwy don't make it warmer because the canvas prevents it from packing small. It's big. It's easy to pack I to the duffle bag, I don't understand why people complained about that. In fact the duffle bag has enough space I can fit pillows inside it too. Zippers don't snag the lining easy. I still hold a finger out as I zip to prevent that, just as a good practice. No complaints. I got it on sale and I felt it was worth it at that point. Will buy it again when the time comes. I only put 2 stars on weight because it's not a fancy compact sleeping bag. It's a queen, it's canvas. The dog won't ruin it a d it is 2 bags in one so of course it will be heavy and big. That's why I bought it! Soi hate to rate it 2 stars for that but compared to other fancy matrriaksu they may choose yuse in the future it's heavy by comparison. I have another single size bagfor colder weather that is as big as this queen size; so I'm not complaining. But it's really perfect for my needs.

Big, heavy and warm. Mine came with some seam problems that made the zipper tough to use. After the third use, the seam pulled apart down the side zipper near the bottom. Ordering a replacement, hoping the seams will be in better shape. This was a GREAT sleeping bag when it comes to room and comfort. It is so thick, you almost don’t need a sleeping pad. I would recommend this wholeheartedly, if the seam didn’t rip. But I’m sure the next on will be fine.... BUY IT! You wont be sorry!

So i saw a review of this on The Outdoor Gear Review & decided to try it out for myself. This bag is YUGE, like seriously. Its f______g ginormous. But once you get in it, that’s a GREAT thing. Tons of room. The inside lining is extremely comfortable & the insulation is plush. Ive had this sleeping bag out to as low as 40 degrees & i was extremely comfortable (im a hot sleeper). The zippers & the velcro keeps at the top of the zipper are excellent & the draft guard actually works. The draw pulls around the hood are functional, and the canvas exterior is as d@mn near indestructible as you’re gonna get. If you’re car or truck camping and its not north pole kind of cold, this is an AWESOME sleeping bag for spring & fall camping. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this bag.

Take a queen sized mattress comforter... Then sew it to another queen sized mattress comforter... You end up with this monster! There is a tremendous amount of fabric in this. I can't believe it doesn't cost more! This is very soft inside and the canvass outer is pliable but still tear resistant. The insulation is really poofy so it makes the whole thing look simply enormous. The zippers are very big and heavy duty. They sometimes come unzipped a little while moving around in the bag, but not often. The colors are timeless with a tan outer and plaid inside. This thing is warm. SO warm. I can't imagine a colder weather version of this bag, but apparently it exists. I got this because my wife misses sleeping next to me while camping. This certainly solved that problem! There's enough space for a small army inside! And she certainly wont get cold at night. I think we will cozy any warm down to 40F and really we should be okay down to around 30F or so. Time will tell. The only thing to be aware of when this box arrives, is the size. Even in the nice quality stuff sack, it is enormous and it weighs a lot. It might be larger and heavier than two individual bags, but it doesn't matter because this thing is amazing.

I had been going through a steady diet of randomly chosen sleeping bags off Amazon and they would last a few months and then the zippers would die. I got the Teton over a year ago and was liked it so much I started just …sleeping in it all the time. I got it during the winter .::not for camping..but for my regular bed (to keep my feet warm)z The teton is HUGE its like a Queen sized bed size so it doesnt really seem like you are IN a sleeping bag. its like…two comfy blankets that just happen to be connected by the most robust zipper I could have hoped for. They have taken a beating and just shrug it off with no issues. It doesnt have the same tendency to have material get caught in the zipper when zipping , either, because the fabric is like a polar fleece sweater sort of but…more manly……more like a lumberjacks shirt material. it’s really robust and able to withstand tons of abuse without showing any signs of damage. Heavy duty zippers and cloth. Excellent Purchase!

je suis très impressionner par le confort je l'ai mit sur mon lit le premier soir que je les reçue pour essayer c'est pour mon lit dans ma roulotte que je les acheter , j'ai dormit dedans hier soir TRES impressionner ! hyper confortable et doux sur la peau un très bonne achat ! Dommage que ca ne viens pas avec des taie d'oreiller rouge la même couleur que l'intérieur "

Our second year using this sleeping bag. Autumn tent camping and very cozy. Prefer this canvas outer shell, as it doesn't slide around. Keep in mind this is a large bag when rolled up for storage. Recommend!

I would definitely give 5 stars if it had the option to zip into 2 sleeping bags too. Very happy with the purchase still.

Such a nice sleeping bag, so plush and comfy. We bought for our rooftop tent and it makes set up so simple. Just throw in the tent and you're ready to go. The only things that isn't fun is rolling it back up, but it's as you would expect for a big plush double sleeping bag. Beautiful color and style.
