2pack Phone Jack to Ethernet Adapter

did not work for me in attempt to increase my modem line to higher capacity

So, had these sitting around and never tested. Finally got around to it and no joy. Hooked one end to the Internet router phone port (that works) then to RJ 45 to the other end of the house. Then into phone. No dial tone. Tried two different phones Ended up being a problem with the cat 6 cable. It only had four conductors! Who does that???

Worked exactly as we needed. We had a Cat 5 cable and needed a longer one. We could not find any that have the older "telephone type" jack so I was glad to find this converter. It was easy to use and we have not had any connection issues using it.

The splice block was too tight for any terminator to fit. I got a cheap price on a cheap product. This is not an adapter, it is junk. Dont waste your money on this item.

I really cannot say much about this other than I had to return because they didn’t work for what I wanted. I needed an adapter that would make a small cord that plugs into the back of a phone and make it into the larger size jack plug. I wasn’t sure if this would work but gave it a shot and it did not.

Got this for an old keyboard that I was trying to work on which took the RJ 11. The great thing is you don't have to use it for an old computer You can use it for any application that uses an RJ11 or RJ45. But even if you're application turns out you don't need it it's always handy to have if you're going to work with an old keyboard phone etc maybe even some modern equipment
