Longer than the handle that was on the original Axe. Not as smooth of a finish. The fit is a little off but still works for my old tomahawk from Cold Steel.

The handle is nice and straight and took all of 5 minutes to fit it perfectly. I will be buying more in the future.

I’m really disappointed with this purchase. The handle is too small for the head of my cold steel trail hawk (which the product description says is one of the models it fits). The handle is extremely thin, much thinner than the handle that came with the tomahawk originally. It barely holds the head and there are sizable gaps all around the eye of the axe. I estimate that at least a third of the eye is not in contact with the handle at all. I am genuinely worried that with any use at all the head will come flying off, which should not be a concern with a slip fit tomahawk like this. In addition, the handle is also badly shaped. It has a lot of bulges and swells in the wood. The handle is straight, but it’s got a bunch of ridges along the front that make for an uncomfortable and unstable grip. Combined with the abysmal fit of the handle and head It’s a really underwhelming product. I’ve ordered Tomahawks form cold steel in the past and always been pleased. I don’t know if I just got a dud handle, or if quality control is really slipping, but either way I am quite disappointed.

Needed to get replacement handles for the 4 Cold Steel Frontier Tomahawks we use for throwing. Have a tendency to hit/split them while throwing. Easy to replace (one tape was removed from old ones). Perfect replacement.

Bought this for my Cold Steele Hudson Bay tomahawk that, for some dumb reason, comes with a shorter handle. Now I have an effective tool.

I slipped the handle through the eye of the hawk and it fit great
