Zippo Ace Lighters

This zippo has a rustic look to it. The design is very nice and detailed. The spades in the corners on the front are indented which is nice. It has a shiny gloss to it and is perfect for anyone who collects zippos or wants to use one. Definitely worth the money.

A sharp looking lighter with a nice design. The photos on the Amazon listing are accurate but this thing is a bit of a chameleon. If you look closely the Amazon photos show two completely different looks and both are accurate. In indoor lighting, the engraved side can look cream colored or it can look chrome / metallic. It depends on the angle and strength of the light hitting it. I was hoping for or expecting a chrome / metallic look. But 90% of the time you are going to see the cream color. I think it's the etching process that creates the cream effect because in the right light, you can get the silver metallic look. As for the "Black Ice" color of the metal case, that too was a surprise. In the Amazon photos it looks like a very noticeable black chrome. In person when I first took it out of the box, I thought it was a standard chrome case that had been shipped in error. It was only when I put it next to another Zippo I own (Regal Armor High Polish Chrome) that I could tell it was indeed different. It is a black chrome but it's not easily noticeable unless you have a piece of regular chrome side by side for comparison. So if you're looking for something that is deep black with a high polish finish, this isn't it. This is much more subtle. I'm keeping it despite the fact that it isn't exactly what I was expecting. I don't mean to imply that it isn't attractive. It is. But it's one of those things that's really hard to depict accurately in a photo on a web page. I like the Ace Of Spades image. It's decorative but carries no iconography like crosses and skulls that will immediately get you tagged as religious or a biker. The design is neutral from that standpoint and the overall impression for me is just something from another era, an old lighter in perfect condition. That's the same reason I bought the Regal Armor lighter. They are both decorative without really calling up any certain image, just some classy artwork on an inexpensive little fire making tool.

Can't get much better than a Zippo Lighter, it looks cool, works well, and has that iconic Zippo flip sound.

I purchased this lighter primarily for use at casinos. It sure grabs some eye balls. The design is beautifully laser etched on the front side of the lighter case. There are variations in the depths of these engraving which give it a good 3D feel. The design is etched on a standard Black Ice finish. Black Ice is a finish very similar to a high polish chrome with a dash of black. It may not be as Black as in the image ( actually more towards silver ). One thing I dislike is that, at certain angles the entire etched design feels like a white plastic sticker. But that's only under certain lighting conditions and viewing angles. A very beautiful lighter, a sure conversation starter. 4.5/5 stars. Much recommended :)

I just received my Zippo Filigree Ace of Spades lighter, it is awesome ! It comes in the genuine Zippo box and arrived in perfect condition. The lighter is highly polished and the color is a "gun metal gray" (I know it, looks black in the picture) The artwork on the front is very intricate and detailed just like the picture shows. The design is etched, not a sticker, and appears to be done using a vapor etching process (just a guess) leaving an appealing matte silver appearance with highly polished accents. This just became one of my favorite Zippo lighters, in fact I ordered another one so now I have one to carry and one to display. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with this lighter! Also complements to Amazon, ordered on 8/21 and received it on 8/24/13 using standard shipping.

I have had plenty of zippos. This is one of my favorites. The design on the lighter is obviously not a sticker. And I don't think its engraved. I believe that it is silk screen print. Its still a beautiful design. The color of 5he lighter is like a mixture of black and silver. Its hard to explain, but it does look different depending on the light and the angle from which you are viewing it. I filled the lighter with zippo fluid about 5 days and it is still lighting and it lights on the first strike. Its a great lighter and for $21 you can't beat it.

Purtroppo: esternamente era integro però internamente no,quindi la parte interna esce con troppa facilità quindi non sono per niente soddisfatto.

Niente da dire, qualità Zippo, affidabile bello e resistente.

Hay que verlo en persona, el cromado tiene un toque ahumado, el grabado cuando lo mueves hace un efecto de nacarado, es de los Zippos más bonitos que he visto o tal vez el más bonito, fino, sencillo, elegante y canalla, Le doy un 13 sobre 10 y al servicio un 10, rapido y todo perfecto.
