This material is ideal for making any pictures stand out, very strong stuff.

I originally bought the mesh to use for doing cross stitch, although not until after I had already started one. Having seen a similar item at a craft class, I expected the holes to be square but these ones are round, so I don’t know if they would take four 2-strand threads in them. Instead, once I finished the cross stitch I was doing, I used the mesh to stitch the completed picture onto so I could put it into a frame. Hopefully, I will actually try sewing my next project directly onto the mesh as that would simplify the framing process, and avoid the need for a hoop whilst sewing. It does cut easily so can be trimmed to whatever size is needed.
