Kewtech KEWCHECK R2 Socket Testing Adaptor - Test Without Removing Wall Socket

As always with Kewtech, this is well built, reliable, and simple to use. It makes testing much easier, especially when working on sockets where you don’t want to remove the faceplate. Being able to test directly saves time and keeps things more efficient on the job. It’s particularly useful when using cheaper testers that don’t allow you to easily swap test lead functions during continuity testing. This adaptor removes that hassle and speeds things up. Build quality feels solid and it’s clearly designed for regular use on site. Overall, a simple but very effective tool that makes socket testing quicker and more convenient.

Safer and more professional than making your own pre-wired Socket Tester and just the job for checking and testing sockets, especially where removal of the socket face would be impractical or would cause damage to decorating. Highly Recommended!

Excellent piece of equipment good value and good quality

I bought this adaptor to fit onto a variac transformer that had a UK plug as output. The adaptor states that it must be used with Kewtech products only and not for any other purpose. This got me worried as I wondered is there is any special electrical components inside that might alter the functionality. As far as I can tell, this is a simple, straight-through connector with no intelligence. It simply does the job of converting a UK 3-pin plug into three corresponding banana pins for E, N and L. I'm not sure what the maximum current rating of this socket it however.
